"You guys are great parents. Is she adopted?" The blonde gave Russel the bill. Does she think Russel and Candy are... together? You tried to hide your laughter, but you couldn't stop shaking.

"N-no, were not together. She's his friend, were all friends!" Candy quickly explained, red from embarrassment. Russel laughed, finding the whole thing amusing.

"Sorry, I just thought-"The blonde cut herself off, blushing.

"It's good. Here" He handed her the bill, money inside. We all stood up and left the diner after that.

"I'll take the girls again?" You asked Russ, twirling the keys around your finger.

"I'll take em', you take D" He said, unlocking the doors for Candy and Noodle who were up ahead. You nodded your head in response, unlocking the door for you and 2D.

"Is it a good idea to go back? With Murdoc shitfaced?" You asked Russ.

"Were not going back yet, were going grocery shopping. I don't like having Noodle and D around Muds when he's like that. He says dumb shit to Noodle and he hits D, don't want him doing that to Noodle, or him" He responded, getting in. You nodded your head. Russel was such a good person, thoughtful and chill. You got in the driver's seat, letting Russel take the lead, before following.

"How was that?" You asked 2D, referring to the breakfast.

"We don' usually go out, ey liked et" He said. "Wifout that old sod"

You nodded your head, you felt bad for the 3 members. Murdoc was such an asshole to them, you can't blame him though. He probably had a terrible childhood, why he's like that, that's how most like him are. 2D didn't deserve to be fearful of him and Noodle didn't deserve to have such a bad influence in her youth. Russel shouldn't have to deal with his shit either, too bad. Maybe you could change Murdoc, like Russel claimed you have. You thought back to the time when Murdoc threatened you, he was so terrifying at the time. Made you wonder if that was something all 3 of them had to go through, not Noodle. Murdoc should have enough heart not to put his hands on her, i'm sure he wouldn't do it to Russel, he was twice his size. That could only mean 2D had it bad, worse than the others. You frowned at the thought, it wasn't fair that Murdoc threw him around. It was bad enough that Murdoc fucked his eyeballs up, making him look like Jack Skellington. 2D was 22 years old! He shouldn't have to deal with that kind of shit.

You parked into the supermarket parking lot, beside the bmw. You all went into the supermarket, choosing things everyone would want for supper and breakfast. Grabbing snacks, drinks and junk food as well. You pushed the cart around, 2D walking beside you. Noodle was on Russel's back and Candy went to look for lady stuff that we'd need. You know for that time of the month, she also took a look at the drugstore makeup.

"This is a lot, you sure you can pay for all this?" You asked Russel.

"Yeah" He nodded, adding some more produce to the almost full cart. He put Noodle down, upon her request, she wanted to take a look at all the fresh fruit. You grabbed a few bottles of alcohol for Murdoc, just so he would leave you 5 alone, without you being pestered. And so he wouldn't hurt somebody, you'll give him a bottle, like a baby would become quiet when they receive their bottle.

Candy came back, throwing everything I had asked for and everything she needed in the cart. I raised a brow, when she threw in a pack of condoms.

"For you guys" She smirked, crossing her arms. You turned red, glad that 2D was looking at something else. Your jaw dropped.
