XXIV

Daniel's POV

Our show just ended and Caitlin is nowhere to be found, Jack was off almost the entire show and now he's wandered off too.

"We have to find Jack," I say.

"Well we also need to find Caitlin," Peyton adds.

"Ok, well Jack just left he couldn't have gone that far, but Caitlin left hours ago. She could be halfway back to LA," Lili says.

"How about we split up half of us look for Cait and the other looks for Jack," Corbyn says.

"Wait before we go anywhere has anyone tried to call either of them?" Lili asks.

We all stay silent, that never even came to my mind.

"Exactly so, why don't we (ha) call them," Lili suggests.

"I'll call Caitlin," Peyton says.

"I got Jack," I say.

It rings and rings and rings...

"Hello?"

"Jack, where are you? You can't keep running off," I say.

"I'm sorry I'm out here looking for Caitlin, she's been missing for hours and it's all my fault,"

"Jack just comeback and we'll all help find her,"

"Fine,"

He hangs up.

"Ok so Jack is coming back here," I say to the group.

"Well Caitlin's not answering," Peyton says.

"Let me try," Zach says.

"Like she'll answer you, she didn't even answer me," Peyton says.

"Shh it's ringing," He says.

"Hello? Caitlin?!" Zach says. Peyton looks confused and hurt.

"Where are you?" "What do you mean?" "No you have to come back here," "just comeback and we'll figure something out,"

He then hangs up.

"So what did she say?" Jonah asks.

"Well, we got her just in time because she was on her way to an airport. But I guess I convinced her to comeback and talk," Zach says.

I look over at Peyton and she seems hurt, Jonah looks down at her and realizes too.

"What's wrong?" Jonah asks.

"She didn't answer me," Peyton answers.

"Huh?" Jonah says.

"Caitlin, she didn't answer me, but she answered Zach,"

"It probably doesn't mean anything," Jonah reassures her.

"I'll just ask her later," Peyton says.

We're all waiting for Jack and Caitlin to come back, and you know what I just realized? This entire time Lili hasn't said anything, to any of us. I walk over to Lili,

"Hi," I start.

"Hey," She returns.

"So I haven't talked to you yet,"I say.

"Well to be fair I haven't really talked to anyone," Lili says.

"Well... anything on your mind?" I ask.

"Not much... OH I think I should tell you I'm kind of living in your house," 

She's living with us YES!

"Really? What happened?"

"It was just time to leave home you could say, and Caitlin and Peyton were there when it happened, so they offered for me to stay,"

As if planned Caitlin comes walking through the door with puffy, red eyes. We all look at her and hug her. 

Caitlin's POV

I walk into the room and everyone embraces me in a hug. As we break apart Peyton pulls me outside of the room. 

"Why didn't you answer my call?" Peyton asks.

"I don't know," I respond.

"What do you mean? You could answer Zach but not me?" She asks.

"I'm sorry, I just didn't want you to try and stop me,"

"Oh bull, it didn't sound like it took much for Zach to get you to come back,"

"I di-" I get cut off as I hear the back door close, we both turn to see who came and I see him. I go back into the green room with everyone else and Peyton follows. Not long after Jack comes in too, well isn't this a nice party.

"Caitlin, you're okay!" Jack says.

"Actually I was half way to the airport, but these people convinced me to come back," I say.

"Why would you leave?" Is he serious right now?

"Are you dumb? You cheated on my with Aspen,"

"I told you what happened, I didn't know it was going to happen,"

"I don't care if it was an accident or if it was planned it happened,"

I really thought he would've let this go, let me go, I thought I made it pretty clear that I didn't want to talk to him, see him, be with him, or associate with him.

"Cait, I'm sorry," Jack apologizes again.

"Just give me time," I say.

As I finish I realize everyone else was just watching us like a soap opera. Zach and Corbyn even have popcorn, where the hell did they get popcorn?

"Pey, Lili can we go to the hotel?" I ask.

"I actually had plans with Jonah, sorry Cait," Peyton says.

"Daniel asked if I wanted to see the city with him," Lili says.

"That's fine, I'll just get an uber," I say.

"I can drive you back to the hotel," Corbyn says.

"Can I come, I wanna go back to the hotel room," Zach asks.

"Sure, and thanks Bean," I say/

"What about me?" Jack asks. (Every time I type "Jack asks" I alway think of Jack ass)

Corbyn looks at me as if asking if he can bring Jack too. I let out a sigh,

"I guess you can come too, but you are not coming to my room," I say.
