Caitlin's POV

I quickly exit the room and into the hallway. I hear footsteps following behind me, and Jack calls my name. I turn around to face him once he's in the hallway and the door is closed.

"Hey," He says reaching out placing his hand in my cheek.

"I'm sorry," I apologize.

"For what?" He asks.

"Making a scene," I say looking down removing his hand.

"Hey," He says lifting my chin up. "You don't need to apologize, hell I should be apologizing," He adds.

"Why, that was forever ago. I promise I'm not upset about that still," I reassure him.

"I know, but I feel like I don't deserve you," He confesses.

"Jack, you're a rising pop star that's famous, if anything I don't deserve you," I say.

"I love you," He says pulling me into a hug.

"I love you too," I mumble into his chest.

Peyton's POV

A bitch is going to get popped in the mouth, I swear. Caitlin just left the room and Jack went to chase after her.

"Peyton, you better watch what you say to my daughter," David warns.

"All due respect David, but your precious daughter is one of the sneakiest, conniving, little skanks I've ever met in my life," I say.

"DADDY, DO SOMETHING!" Aspen whines.

"Peyton, stop it right now!" David demands.

"Pey, This has gone too far," Jonah tells me.

"Oh so you're gonna side with him?" I ask calmly.

Jonah stiffens up at my change in mood.

"Yes," He answers hesitantly.

"And that's my cue," I say getting up.

"Wait what? Where are you going?" He asks.

"I don't know, walking," I reply.

"Wait," He says getting up.

"I'll be back in a little. I have to, if I'm cooled down by then everything will be fine, if not, I have to come back for my stuff," I say.

Before I He can answer I walk out the door, coming face to face with Jack and Caitlin.

"Pey, What are you doing?" She asks curiously.

"Going out," I say continuing down the hall.

"Wait, What happened?" Caitlin says chasing after me.

I turn back around to see Jack went back into the room and Caitlin's behind me.

"We're not fine," I say.

"What?"

"Jonah and I," I add.

"Well what happened to you two?" She asks.

"I don't know honestly, ever since the whole Aspen incident happened he's been distant, like he's hiding something. And when I was yelling at Aspen earlier he started siding with David and Aspen, and I- I feel like Jonah doesn't love me anymore," I explain.

"Yup, nope, we're not going through this again," Caitlin says.

"Going through what?" I ask.

"The whole worrying over a boy thing, I'm not gonna let you stress about it, we're going to get an answer," Cait says.

She then drags me down the hall and back into the room. When we enter everyone turns towards us. Caitlin doesn't stop walking when we enter, she goes straight to Jonah.

"Ask him," Caitlin demands.

"Ask me what?" Jonah asks.

"Do you love me?" I say bluntly.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Exactly what I said, do. You. Love. Me?" I repeat.

"Of course I do, why would you ask that?"

"You've been really distant lately and it all started after the whole Aspen drama and I thought to myself, maybe you're cheating on me, or maybe you're-," Jonah then cuts me off.

"Babe, you're crazy if you think that. I would never cheat on you, after all, we all saw what happened to Jack," Jonah starts.

"Hey!" Jack interrupts.

"Shut up, they're having a moment," Caitlin's tells Jack.

"Anyways I would never do that to you. I love you, I promise," Jonah assures me, and pulls me into a hug.

"Don't worry sweetie, I'm not after your little Jonah. But Caitlin on the other hand, you might want to hold onto your precious Jack tighter," Aspen says.

"David!" Jack shouts pointing to Aspen.

"Is that the only reason you wanted to come Aspen?" David asks.

"Of course not daddy, but I mean that was a perk, but of course not," Aspen explains.

"Now that's pathetic," I comment.

"Alright, you guys figure out whatever, this is, but just leave me out of it," David says rubbing his temples. "Be friends, don't be friends, I don't care at this point," He confesses and walks out.

We then almost immediately hear a knock on the door. Zach goes to open it and we see David again. He marches back in to us.

"Wait a minute, this is my room, you guys should figure this out somewhere else," He says.

We all file out of the room in a line. Aspen is the last to leave, following me. I turn around to face her.

"No, David we don't have to like you, and trust me we don't. So go back in, have some quality time with your dad, and leave us alone," I tell her and push her back in, closing the door.

"Oh thank god she's gone. I️ was scared to say anything that entire time," Brynn confesses.

"You're cute," Zach tells her.

"Okay, so it's 4:57 what should we do?" Corbyn asks.

"Well I️ happen to know a little chickee who would love to see you," I hear someone say.

We all look around to see Christina behind Corbyn.

"BABE!" Corbyn shouts. "Well I have my night planned out, have fun guys," Corbyn says interlocking hands with Christina.

"USE PROTECTION!" Jonah yells at them.

"Shut up," I tell him, hitting his arm.

I honestly have nothing against Aspen, but I also wanted a antagonist so yeah. I honestly don't care what you think of her. You guys can hate on the book Aspen but I don't want to hear your opinions about her in real life.
