Jack's POV
Today's the day we go home, Aspen left when we left Seattle. She told her dad that she was homesick, but we knew she left because everyone stopped talking to her. When Caitlin left I told myself the first thing I was gonna do when I stepped off the plane was plan to get her back. (This is gonna be such a bad chapter I can tell) We're in line for security at the airport. Corbyn got stopped because he brought his laptop to play League of Legends on the flight, idiot. Corbyn finally got cleared to pass and now we have about an hour to spare. We go to a restaurant in the airport and grab some lunch. We all order big entrees and finish within 30 minutes. We start to head towards the gate. It takes us about 20 minutes because we get Starbucks, take a bathroom break and skate around a bit. We finally board the plane. I'm next to the window, with Zach next to me, And Daniel next to him. Then in front is Corbyn, Jonah and Eben. Behind us is August, Tyler (Daniel's Brother) and David. I see us slowly lift off of the runway and take off. No turning back now.
...
We're pulling into the driveway now.
"Hey can someone drive me to Walmart real quick?" I ask.
"Yeah, what for?" Zach says.
"I'm trying to get Caitlin back, and no offense but you are not driving me anywhere," I answer.
"Oh c'mon," Zach pleads.
"I'm trying to get Caitlin back and in order to do that I have to be alive and in good physical condition, so sorry but I'll wait to you have a little more practice," I return.
"Fine," Zach says with a huff.
"I'll take you," Eben says.
"Yes, thanks man," I say.
"No problem,"
"Can u guys bring in our stuff?" I ask.
"Oh we're going now?" Eben asks.
"Yeah, I told her the moment I come back I'm winning her back," I answer.
"Ok man," Eben says with a chuckle.
"David can you pass me the keys?" Eben asks.
David tosses over the keys to Eben. The rest of the boys trail out of the van. Eben gets to the drivers seat and I head to the passengers seat. He sticks the key in the ignition, adjusts the mirrors, puts the car in reverse and pulls back out of the driveway. And we're off.
...
Eben parks back into the driveway and I hop out to grab the gifts I bought. I bought Caitlin a bouquet of Hibiscus flowers mixed with Amaryllis flowers, some kit kats, mentos, a stuffed koala and a "I'm sorry for hurting your feelings please forgive me and take me back" card. Technically it's a I'm sorry card, but that's what I wrote on the inside. I gather all the things and head to the door. Eben's trailing behind me and I stop at the door to knock. Coincidentally Caitlin opens the door. Her face is confused yet surprised.
"Um, Jack what's all of this for?" She asks.
"You!" I say.
"What?" She asks.
"One sec," I say and squeeze my way past her inside.
I then set down the candy, card and stuffed animal down. Now all I have are the flowers.
"Cait, remember what I said right before you left? I said that the moment I got back here I would try to win you back. Well, that's exactly what I did. So first I bought you this flower arrangement," I announce.
"Well they're lovely Jack, thank you," She thanks.
"Next I bought your favorite candy, Kit Kats," I then hand them to her.
"Why thank you," she says.
"Now, a stuffed koala because, well you're our koala," I say.
"Hey only I get to call her that," Peyton butts in. By now everyone has gathered around us to watch what all the commotion was about.
"Lastly a card," I hand her the card.
"Caitlin, I'm so sorry for hurting you, please forgive me and take me back, Jack," Caitlin reads the card.
"Jack, this is really sweet and all, but friends remember? And I know we agreed that later on we can try again, but it's just to soon. I'm sorry," she replies and runs upstairs.
Well that didn't go as planned. I shake my head and head up to my room.
Caitlin's POV
I. Can't. Believe. That. Just. Happened. I feel so bad for telling Jack no. I mean he did say that he was going to try. But it's just too soon, it's only been a month. Most girls would think I'm overreacting, 1. because it was just a kiss and 2. because it's Jack fu*cking Robert Avery. I'm just a very cautious person. I used to be very guarded and had walls built around me, but once Jack came that changed. Look where that got me. I swear I forgive him, I'm just not ready to get back together yet.

Well this absolutely sucked but here you go!
