Peyton's POV
(This is Peyton's POV during the last chapter before the plane and in LA.)
I wake up to use the bathroom (didn't know how to start her pov soooo). I find it's 4:30 a.m, I should probably wake up Jonah for our flight. At first I try to nudge him a bit.
"Jonaaahhhh, oh Jonaaahhh, wake uuppp, we have a fliiight to caatch," I sing song.
Ugghhhh why are guys such heavy sleepers? After that doesn't work I grab him by his feet and pull him off the bed. After trying to use all of the muscles that I don't have I finally pull him off.
"Bloody hell Peyton!" He groaned.
"Shut up Weasley, we have a flight to catch,"
"Fine, can you at least help me up?"
I reach down to meet his stretched out arm. As we grip together he pulls me down, catching me with his arm.
"Jooonaaah, why'd you do that?" I whine.
"You pull me down, I pull you down. See now we're even,"
We both get up and get ready. When we finish we meet everyone downstairs. We all load our things into Corbyn's rental car, that his parents will drop back at the dealers later. When we enter the airport we go through security and everything. After we all find seats to sit at, Jack and Caitlin find the Starbucks with our orders. I'm currently sitting between Jonah and Daniel waiting for our flight to be called.
"Hey Jonah, what time should they be calling us on the overhead for our flight?" I ask.
"Actually they won't because we're taking a private plane to LA, so they're just gonna text our manager when they're here,"
"Oh okay,"
After that we go back on our phones, until Daniel taps me on my shoulder.
"Hey Peyton," He starts up.
"Wassup Danny boy, how's it going?" I return.
"It's going alright, considering it's 5 am,"
"Are you okay, you look a bit nervous?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I pause and move to the empty seat on the other side of Daniel.
"It's just I'm so confused about where Jonah and I stand," I finish, besides Jonah, Daniel is the closest member to me and I can basically tell him anything.
"What do you mean by that?"
"It's just I really like him, and I honestly thought he felt the same way. But it's been a couple of weeks now and I thought he would've asked me out already. I know that sounds really narcissistic but I just don't wanna get my hopes up if he doesn't feel the same way,"
"Don't give up just yet Pey, because I can tell that Jonah likes you too just by the way he looks at you. Just give it a little more time and wait it out,"
"Thanks Danny,"
Jonah's POV (ooh that's new)
I saw Peyton move away next to Daniel, and a ping of jealousy occurred in me. Me being the nosy person I am, I lean a little closer to hear what they're saying.
"It's just I really like him, and I honestly thought he felt the same way. But it's been a couple of weeks now and I thought he would've asked me out already. I know that sounds really narcissistic but I just don't wanna get my hopes up if he doesn't feel the same way," She says.
It breaks my heart to hear her say that, maybe Cait's right and I should ask her out sooner than later. I've waited so long that it has to be special, I can't just straight out say it. I start thinking of ways to ask her out, and start to devise a plan. I think I'm gonna buy a bear that has my voice saying "Will you be my girlfriend?". It's a great way to make her love of stuffed animals into a hopefully, successful way of asking a girl out. Jack and Caitlin then come back with our drinks. When I find out that there's a secret butterbeer frappe, I say I wanna go back, but Caitlin refuses. We're then told that our plane is ready.
