Hello sorry didnt upload yesterday i had AP English exam this morning and it was horrible. English is not my favorite subject but anyways hope you enjoy. :)
Chapter 21
Chloe heart is frozen when Violet knocks on the big red door. Finally the door swings open and there was a shock and scared face. “What are you doing here?”
Violet waves her hands and explains, “No I swear we’re not here to hurt you. Anne called you earlier saying a Violet was coming to visit.”
“Yes, a Violet not her.” Lauren says pointing at Chloe and backing up slowly into her house.
Violet walks in slowly and reassures, “It’s okay I promise we won’t hurt you. Anne would never put you in danger right?”
Lauren thinks about this and finally asks, “What you want?”
“I can explain that.” Chloe finally says.
Catherine just stands to the side and gets impatience and asks rudely, “Are you going to invite us in Lauren.”
“Yes, you may come in follow me into the kitchen.” Lauren says walking off.
When they enter the kitchen Lauren sits at the table and says, “Okay what you want.”
Chloe lets out a breath and explains, “I’m here to apologize for what I did. It wasn’t me and I wanted to come here personally to tell you how sorry I am.”
“I thank you for that, but I can’t forgive you for what you did to my family. My husband doesn’t look at me the same anymore and my son has been having nightmares since that night and I had to hire a therapist that I cannot afford. So I’m sorry Chloe it was brave of you to come down here but can you leave before my husband return with my son.” Lauren says.
Chloe lets out a breath and says, “I understand you don’t forgive me but, can you just here me out.”
Lauren looks at her watch and says, “You have a minute.”
Violet growls at Laurens rudeness but Catherine puts a hand on her shoulder and whispers, “You got to let Chloe handle this herself.”
Violet nods her head folding her arms over her chest and listen.
“Well I wanted to help you and your family by making everything normal again.” Chloe says.
“Nothing will ever be normal again!” Lauren yells.
“Yes it can, I can erase your son and husband memory from that night. Whatever you want them to think I can make that happen.” Chloe says. “Everything will be normal again I promise.”
Laurens thinks for a while and then asks, “How?”
Catherine steps up waving her hand saying, “I’m a vampire I can erase their memory.”
Lauren sighs and says, “Fine but they can’t see you Chloe.”
Chloe nods her head. They wait for almost thirty minutes and Violet explains to Lauren what really happen and that Chloe was the sweetest person in the world. “I can’t image Chloe being what you describe her to be from what I witnessed. You must really love her even though she stabbed you through the chest.”
Violet looks over at Chloe who is sitting on the other side of the room and says, “Yes, I do really love her.”
Lauren smiles and replies, “My husband use to look at me like that now all I see is fear in his eyes.”
Violet smiles and reassures, “You will get that back.”
Finally her husband and son arrives and Chloe sits in the back and waits for Catherine to erase there memory.
