I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing. I grunted because I stayed up all last night talking to Jai on the phone about everything and anything. But there's some things that I will probably never tell him. Like my dad or what happened in the UK. I answered my phone and it was Jai.
'Im taking you on a surprise date, meet you outside in an hour'.
He said that and then he hung up straight away. I just smiled. I got up and out of bed straight away. I ran into the shower. I turned the hot water on and then the cold. I washed myself off and then got out and grabbed a towel. I put on some pretty clothes. I brushed my hair and left it out. I applied my normal make up. I looked pretty good.
I went downstairs with my bag, mum was up and drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. She smiled at me. I gave her a hug and then went outside to meet Jai. I haven't told her yet that Jai and I are a thing. I saw Jai standing outside and I just ran up and hugged him. I gave him a kiss.
He grabbed my hand and our fingers entwined. We started walking towards the shops, but we kept walking passed the mall. He lead me into a music store. I love to sing. No one has ever heard me because I don't know if im any good. But I usually sing infront of my mirror.
I walked off and Jai followed me. I grabbed a guitar. Jai looked around, I sat down on the chair and strummed the gutair, I started to sing 'I wont give up'. I kept singing and singing, I didn't care who heard. I think I was pretty loud. I felt eyes on me. Like I had a big crowed. Jai grabbed a gutair and sat next to me, he joined in and started singing with me. He was actually so good at singing. The song ended and a lot of people clapped for us. I was embarrassed so I put the guitar back and walked outside.
Jai ran after me, I sat down on a bench, Jai sat down next to me. He put his hand on mine.
"You're so good" he said to me, I looked at him and smiled.
"I was about to go on x-factor UK but then my mum showed up so I didn't. I just cant do it. I really want to but I am so scared and embarrassed. My dad always used to say how horrible I was" I said with a tear coming down. Jai just put his arms around me and pulled me close to him.
"Baby, its alright. You're actually so amazing, I went on the x-factor, it isn't scary at all, i'll prove that to you one day. I will, trust me" Jai said to me to make me happier. I smiled at him. I gave him a kiss. I stood up and pulled him up too.
"Can we go get milk shakes?" I asked Jai, in a little kid voice. Haha. He said yes and we started walking to the shop.
We entered the shop and I sat down because Jai said he would order for us. He got me a large strawberry milk shake, my favourite awww. He brung them over and we left the store. We sat down on the grass together. We started talking about all our favourite memories together when we were little kids. He remembered basically everything aw aw. He's so adorable.
We finished our milk shakes at the same time, we chucked them in the bin. We thought we would go back home and play video games or something. He took my hand and we went back to Jai's house. My mum was there. She looked disappointed in me. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of Jai's house.
We walked into our house and I was just waiting for her to scream at me for something I did. I just waited and waited. I sat down on the couch.
"WHY ARE YOU KEEPING SECRETS? WHY. WE TELL EACHOTHER EVERYTHING" My mum started to scream and scream. But she ran off to the toilet. She started vomiting and vomiting. I didn't know she was sick. She came back out and put on a smile like everything was fine.
"Are you sick?" I asked her. She sat down on the couch next to me.
"Soon, you're going back to the UK, to live with your father till your 21" My mum said while she started crying.
"MUM HE ABUSES ME" I yelled at her. I didn't want to go back there.
"Im sorry but that's final" My mum said sternly as she walked off to her room. I just screamed, I ran up to my room and just cried and cried.
