Mal X Ben: Love

Chapter 3:

Mal's POV:
I could not believe Jay said that. I turned to Ben.

"You what?!" He yelled.

"I'll give you a second alone." Said Jay walking to the door and leaving.

"I don't understand! Why would you do that?!" He yelled.

"Calm down."

"You spelled yourself. How can I calm down!"

"I'm sorry." I said, a tear rolled down my face. "I didn't want to lose you ok!" I lost my temper. "But now it doesn't even matter. And to say I was actually falling in love with you! You were the first person I ever loved!"

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Just leave me alone." I told him. I walked for the door and he grabbed my arm.

"Mal I--"

"Let go of me!" I pulled away and walked out the door and slammed it.

"C'mon Jay." I told him. I turned to him and tears were still in my eyes.

"What happened?!" He asked me.

"I really don't wanna talk." I told him. We walked to my dorm and saw Dizzy and Evie talking on Evie's bed. They turned to me when they heard the door.

"What's wrong, Mal?" Asked Evie. I closed the door and sat on my bed.

"Jay told him about me spelling myself. And now Ben is super mad at me." I told her.

"Give him a while to cool down. Because he's upset about that." Said Evie.

"Ok. I'm about to go somewhere." Said Mal.

"Where?" Asked Evie.

"The Enchanted Lake." I told her.

"Ok. Make sure you wash thag spell right off." Said Evie.

"And Evie I'm not joking with you do not tell anyone where I am. Not even Jay or Carlos." I told her.

"Not even Ben?" She asked.

"Especially not Ben!" I told her.

"So are you clear on that?" I asked.

"Very." Said Evie.

"What about you, Dizzy?"

"Crystal clear."

"Ok. And I'm taking this with me." I picked up my spell book.

"See you later!" Said Dizzy.

I walked out and headed for the lake. When I got there, I sat my spell book down and got ready to get in the water. First I dipped my feet in the water. Then I jumped in. And at that very moment, I remembered that I didn't know how to swim.

Ben's POV:

I walked to the girls' dorm and came inside. Dizzy and Evie were talking and laughing.

"Hey guys! Have you seen Mal?" I asked. They looked at each other.

"No." Said Evie.

"Seriously guys. Where is she?"

"Well she's definitely not at the Enchanted Lake washing away the spell." Said Dizzy.

"The Enchanted Lake? Oh. I'll go talk to her." I said. Then my heart started to burn.

"Wait a second. She can't swim!" I panicked.

"I forgot! C'mon we gotta save her!" Said Evie. We all ran to get Jay and Carlos. We went inside of their dorm and saw Carlos petting Dude on his bed and Jay doing homework.
