Mal X Ben: Love

Chapter 8:

Still Mal's POV:
Harry and his friend brought me inside a building. There were a lot of pirates being loud. My eyes started to ring.

"Ah! My ears!" I said, putting my hands over my ears and falling to the floor.

"Quiet! She can't be around loud noise!" Harry whisper yelled.

"Yes sir." Said everyone.

He bent down to help me up.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yeah I am now. Thanks." I said.

He helped me up and we continued to walk. It was a pretty big place and there were a lot of pirates. We continued until a young blonde girl appeared in front of us.

"Hey Harry! Are you and Mal back together?!" She asked. "Are you?!"

"No we're not, CJ." He said.

"Aww! Why not!" She pouted.

"Because she's already taken." He said.

"Oh."

"What are you even doing up at 12 a.m.?" He asked.

"Well I'm not a baby." She said.

"Just go. She needs to rest."

"Mal! You don't like him anymore?! You guys were the best couple!" She said.

"CJ, go to bed before I get dad!" He said as quietly as possible.

"Fine." She ran up the nearest staircase.

"Do you remember her?" Harry asked me. I shook my head.

"I don't." I said. "Can you take me to a bed please. My head...it's killing me." I said.

"Let's go."

He guided me up a lot of stairs until we reached a room. It had two beds in it.

"You can have that one." He pointed to one.

"You're um...not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I asked.

"I'm gonna sleep in this one." He said, sitting on the other.

We got inside of our beds. There was a long silence until I broke it.

"Harry?"

"Hmm?"

"How am I gonna get back?"

"I'm gonna use the magic we found. And you'll be back."

"Well I uh..."

"What?"

"I'm...gonna...miss you." I slowly said.

"I'm gonna miss you too."

"And thank you for everything."

"No need to thank me. Thank you for helping me get out of those ropes."

"Wait a second. Uma's gonna try to make you walk the plank! What are you gonna do?!"

"I'll be fine."

"No! I have to take you with me!"

"I can't go to Auradon." He said.

"Why not?"

There was an awkward silence for a second. Then, once again, I broke it.

"Well?" I said.

"I just can't. I'm about to be crowned king in a few months. And I still need to find a wife." He said. That last part made me feel a bit guilty.
