Mal X Ben: Love

Chapter 9:

Mal's POV:
"They should be here in a few minutes." Said Audrey.

"I don't want her here!" I said.

"Well I also heard that this Harry guy is hot! Would you date him?" Shw asked.

"We actually dated already." I said.

"Why'd you break up?"

"He wanted me to be his queen and I panicked and...dumped him." I said.

"Oh."

"Then last night, he had me thinking we were friends. Then he turned me in to Uma."

"Ouch."

"Now they're coming?!"

"Just avoid them. I'll help you."

"Thanks Audrey."

"You're welcome. Let's go see if they're back."

We walked down the hall and went outside. We were still walking when I bumped into Uma.

"Hey Mal." She said.

"C'mon Audrey." I said, grabbing her arm. Then Uma came in front of us again.

"I thought we were friends now." She said.

"Then you thought wrong. You basically kidnapped me yesterday and you expect me to make peace with you that easily?"

"At least introduce me to your friend here."

"I don't wanna introduce myself to you." Said Audrey. "C'mon Mal."

Then we walked away. We were just going for a peaceful walk when we met Harry.

"Hey Mal." He said.

"Harry." I said.

"This is Harry?!" Asked Audrey.

"Yes." I said.

"Hi I'm A-Audrey." She said. She was blushing a little.

"So, Mal, I'm staying in Auradon now." He said.

"Yes I can see that." I said with an attitude.

"C'mon. Everyone else has forgiven us." He said.

"You tricked me!" I said.

"You would've done the same for your own safety."

"Is this how kids on the Isle flirt?" Asked Audrey.

"I'm not flirting. I'm over him. I'm in a relationship." I said. "And him and Uma are like in the friend zone or whatever."

"I don't like her." He said.

"If you say so."

"I'll see you in your dorm later." He said.

"You don't know which one I stay in."

"Evie and Dizzy told me."

"Bye Harry!"

Harry turned around and walked the other way.

"He's clearly not over you yet!" Said Audrey.

"How?" I asked.

"First, he said 'he'll see you in your dorm later'. Then, his eyes started to sparkle when he looked at you!" She said.

"I really don't care."

"I was just letting you know."

"Let's go back now. My head is hurting." I said.

So she walked me back to my dorm.

"Thanks Audrey." I said.

"Anytime. You can always come over."

"Ok see you later."

I walked inside and Ben, Jay, Evie, Carlos, Dizzy, and Uma were there, talking.

"Mal!" Said Ben. He ran up to me and gave me a tight hug. "We looked everywhere." He said.

"I couldn't find you guys. So I went for a walk with Audrey." I said, quickly releasing from the hug.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

Honestly I felt like they left me out. I mean, here they are, talking, and they weren't even gonna tell me. Are they replacing me with Uma?

"Yeah. I'm...fine." I said.

"While you're here, I wanted to give this back to you." Said Ben. He pulled my ring out of his pocket and slid it on my finger.

"Thanks." I said. "So what were you guys talking about?" I asked, super curious.

"Nothing important." Said Uma.

"I was asking Ben, Shrimpy!" I snapped. All eyes were on me. I didn't know what to do, so without thinking, I just left and slammed the door behind me.

I honestly felt as if they were replacing me. But maybe I'm crazy. Right?

Night time...

I went to the dorm after being gone for the whole day. I walked inside and Evie and Dizzy were already sleep. I changed and crawled inside my bed. I eventually closed my eyes and went to sleep.

In the morning...

I woke up and looked at the clock. It was almost time for school, so I got up. I saw Evie and Dizzy were still sleeping, so I quietly walked to the bathroom and took a shower.

When I finished, I brushed my teeth and changed. Then I walked out of the door and headed to school. I walked really fast so I didn't have to see any of them.

When I got there, I went to Goodness 101 before it started. I just started to draw things that I thought about.

Then the bell rang and class was about to start. I just closed my notebook that I drew in and looked around until they all came in.

Evie sat by me because that was her assigned seat. Jay and Carlos sat by each other and Uma sat alone behind us.

Fairy Godmother went to the board and started talking. I wasn't paying attention because there was too much on my mind. Then Evie passed me a note.

"What's been up with you lately?"

"I just feel like you guys are replacing me with Uma."

"Uma could never take your place!"

"Thanks."

"But you gotta understand that we're hanging out with her too now. She's changed."

"Ok but don't leave me out anymore."

"Ok."

"Mal. Evie. Is that a note?" Asked Fairy Godmother.

"Uhhhh...." Said Evie.

"Hand it over. Now we read it in front of the class." Said Fairy Godmother.

I got up and handed it to and sat back down.

Then she read it out loud.

"You feel like we're replacing you?" Asked Carlos.

"Well yeah." I said.

"Mal. You gotta understand. I wanna be on your good side." Said Uma.

"Ok." I said. I still suspected this was a trick because I know her. But I let everyone think that we were cool.

"Really?" Asked Uma.

"I guess." I said.
