Mal X Ben: Love

Chapter 11:

Three days later...

Ben's POV:
Mal left the hospital yesterday and today was her birthday. She was all better, so Evie, Jay, Carlos, and I planned a surprise. They were gonna distract her for a while and I'm gonna set up a huge party with purple decorations and strawberries. Then I'm gonna take her on a romantic date.

Mal's POV:
I woke up and got out of bed. No one was there, so I got ready for the day. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. Then I went to my calendar to see what I had to do.

"Nothing today." I mumbled. "I was born today though."

Then I left and walked to the boys' dorm to see where everyone was at. I opened the door since it was slightly opened already.

"Happy birthday!" Said all of them together.

"Thanks." I said. "I don't have anything to do today. What do you guys wanna do?"

"Let's design a birthday dress for you." Said Evie.

"Today's just the day I was born. It's nothing special." I said.

"It's special now because people in Auradon celebrate birthdays." Said Carlos.

"Ok. So what are we doing?" I asked.

"We're designing a dress for your birthday." Said Evie.

"Ok." I said. Eviw grabbed my arm and dragged me back to our dorm.

"Where's Dizzy?" I asked, closing the door.

She scratched the back of her head. "Dizzy? She's uh...out to get...new cloth. You know so I can sew it." She said.

I knew she was hiding something. "If you say so."

"C'mon! Watch me make it!" She clapped. So I walked to her desk and took a seat next to her.

Ben's POV:
I wanted to make this party perfect for Mal. I made sure the party was at the Enchanted Lake. There were purple decorations and lots of strawberries and a five-layer cake that said 'Happy Birthday Mal' in purple writing on the top layer.

"Dizzy, put that bowl on the table." I said. She nodded and did as I said.

"Jay. Carlos. Set these up." I handed Jay a big box full of more decorations.

"Uma. Harry. Gil. Set these up." I handed Harry a big box of decorations.

"Jane. Lonnie. Help Evie distract Mal." I said. They nodded and walked away.

I walked to the table and sat another bowl of strawberries on it.

"Hope she likes it." I mumbled to myself.

Mal's POV:
After many boring hours of watching Evie sew different dresses, she finally got up.

"Here! Try this one on!" She handed me another dress.

"Can we keep this one?" I asked/pouted.

"It should be good enough. I guess the 20th time's the charm." She said.

I rolled my eyes and went into the bathroom. I looked at the dress. It was long and purple and said 'Happy Birthday Mal' in darker purple writing. I tried it on and walked back into the room.

"It fits! It's great!" She said.

"Thanks but I'm just gonna be in here today." I said.

"It still looks nice. You should keep it on." She said.

"Ok." I sat on my bed and she handed me a matching pair of shoes.

"Wear these." She said. I frowned.
