Mal X Ben: Love

Chapter 5:

Ben's POV:
I was walking to my locker to pick up some important papers for my meeting. I opened it and started to dig through folders, notebooks, and loose papers. Then I found my blue and gold filled with them. I put everything  back neatly since I had about 30 minutes to spare. When I finished, I closed my locker and Carlos, Jay, and Evie were just sitting there. It made me jump of course. They startled me.

"Aah! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"It's Mal." Said Carlos.

"She's gone mad!" Said Evie.

"Come see!" Said Jay.

So I followed them. They showed me to Mal pushing Wynter against a locker. Wynter looked scared for her life.

"Stop texting him! He's mine! Go find yourself a pathetic little prince!" Said Mal. Her eyes started glowing.

"Why are your eyes glowing?! Are you gonna hurt me?!"

"I don't know. Depends. Consider this a warning. Next time I won't be so nice." Mal let go of Wynter and she ran away.

"Mal?! What are you doing?!" I said. She slowly turned around and faced me. Her eyes flickered back to normal.

"Ben I--"

"Why are you hurting innocent people?!" Asked Ben.

"Whoa whoa whoa. She's not innocent! She continues to text you! And now you're protecting her?!"

"Mal--"

"You're unbelievable!" She screamed. She walked right passed me, bumping into my shoulder and slightly making me move. I turned to the three.

"Guys. We have to fix her." I said.

"She's acting this way because she literally can't live without her spell book." Said Evie.

Mal's POV:
I was still mad, so I walked to the dorm alone so I could think. When I got there, I flopped on my bed and I watched tv for about 10 minutes until a knock on the door interrupted me. I knew it was Evie, so I opened the door and right away, someone threw a sack over my head. I tried to fight my way out, but they tied a rope around me. I couldn't scream because his/her hand tightly covered my mouth. The last thing I remember was Ben's ring slid off my finger and into the dorm hallway.

Ben's POV:
After my meeting, I decided to go talk to Mal. My limo drove me to her dorm and I got out and ran down the hall. I ran to their door and it was already opened. Evie was on her bed shedding tears. Dizzy was asleep.

"Why are you crying?" I asked.

"I'm afraid that something happened to Mal. She's no where to be found, she's not answering her phone, and she didn't leave a note behind."

"Let's not think the worst. She always goes to the Enchanted Lake when she's upset right?"

"Well yeah."

"Then let's check there." I said. But deep down inside, I knew something was wrong. We were walking down the hall when something on the floor shines in the light.

I picked it up and it was the ring I gave Mal. I put it in my pocket and we ran to Enchanted Lake. We got there and she wasn't there. But I did find a note.

"Hey Evie! I found a note." I called to her. She came up to me and we read it together.

Dear trashy leader of Auradon,
I have your precious little gem. She's all tied up for now. And she's not getting released until you come here yourself and get her. Come alone or bring friends. I really don't care. You have 24 hours to show if you want her to keep her life. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

"Oh my God! We have to go right away!" Said Evie.

"Should we bring the boys?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Let's go."

Mal's POV:
I wake up after a while and I'm behind bars. I get up and ran up to the bars.

"What do you want, Uma?" I asked.

"To savor this moment. I mean look at this. You need me to release you!"

"Hello old friend. It's me. The one you abandoned." She said.

"It wasn't my choice! They picked me. Heck, I didn't even wanna go at first!" I said.

"Save it. Your king is coming to rescue you. Hopefully." She said.

"Of course he will!" I said.

"Really? Because you had a huge fight today and your ring was found in the hallway. I doubt it."

My body was burning for two reasons. One, because I wanted to squeeze in between these bars and teach her a lesson. And two, because Ben and I did fight. Was he gonna save me? Does he know I'm missing? Does he care that I'm missing? I sighed.

"Ok ok. I admit it, Uma. You're much more powerful than me." I said.

"That's all I really wanted to hear. Harry! Open the bars!" She called. She had no idea what I was about to do. Harry came up to the bars and opened them. Before I could do anything, he grabbed my arms and sat me at a chair. Most of her pirates had their attention on me while Uma put a table in front of me. Then she pulled a chair up and sat in it. She put her arm on the table.

"If you win, you're free to go, and so are your friends and boyfriend. If I win, you stay and you and your friends become my prisoners."

I put my arm on the table. "Why do you always have to do this?" I asked.

"Just get ready!" She said. "On the count of three."

"One two three." We said at once.

We started as a tie.

"Just think about it. You and your friends. Prisoners of your swarn enemy. Ha ha ha ha!"

That only made me start winning.

"Cheater! Your eyes always glow!"

I pushed her hand all the way down.

"Ha!" I said. "Now leave my friends and I alone!"

"I win either way. Get her!" Said Uma.

Someone came up to me and I punched them in their eye. They winced in pain and fell. Then there was another. I punched both his eyes and he fell. Then it was Harry. He came from behind me and put the sack over my head. Someone else lifted me and they threw me in another cell.

"Let me out of here, Shrimpy!" I said.

"Don't you wanna see your friends and your boyfriend?" She said.

Harry and the other pirates threw them in the cell with me.

"Mal!" Said Ben, hugging me.

"Why'd you guys come?" I asked.

"Because we're always here for you." Said Jay.

"Save the hug fest." Said Uma. "You have one hour until I feed you to the sharks." Then she left the room.

"Now what?" Asked Carlos.

"I think I have a plan." I said.
