The music wrapped around me. But no matter how I tried, the bass wouldn't pound my thoughts away.

I've been watching my mate like some stalker chick. I just couldn't keep my eyes off him.

That last time though, he actually saw me staring at him. And he smirked.

I quickly glanced away but I could sense him coming towards me.

We came to an abrupt stop.

He then grabbed my hand and started pulling me through the crowd.

"Where are we going??"

He lead me away from the crowd and into the woods. The moonlight filtered through the leaves that were been rustled by a gentle cool breeze. The scent of nature wrapped around me leaving me feeling at peace.

"We're here" his deep voice pulled me out of my trance.

I need to mediate soon. I'm zoning out too much.

I gasped, looking around. It was beautiful. We were at a clearing. A creek ran through the trees and wild flowers bloomed at banking. A big apple tree stood at the top of the creek. That was were Alex dragged me.

"Sit. I wanted to come someplace quite so we could talk"

I reluctantly sat down beside him. The grass was soft and cool beneath me.

Looking up, I saw him staring at the sky.

He was really beautiful.

I cleared my throat trying to get rid of those thoughts.

"So", he began turning towards me,"what do you want to know"

Clearing my throat, I told him everything.

He chuckled.

"That's a lot of information"

Laughing, I said "Why don't you just tell me what you do"

"Well. I'm different from  a typical incubi because I'm a Prince. I have special abilities that most don't have and only other royalties can sense my presence"

I nodded. He was kinda cool. Expect the getting sustenance from sex part.

"So... Why do you smell like a human?" He asked. "When I sensed you first, you were human like but then I sensed the vamp in you"

I stared out into space.

"It's a long story" my tone didn't leave space for questions.

He really could not take a hint.

"I don't have time for this" I said getting up.

I got that he was my mate, but he had no right prying in my life.

He jumped up and grabbed my hand. I felt the sensation of my shoulders being massaged and fingers running through my hair.
