They took Yakima and I and left us in a dark room with no light. Good thing I could see in the dark.

The room was small, with a lone bed. I picked up Yakima's still unconscious body and placed her on the bed. Outside the door, I could hear two wolves talking and laughing.

I checked Yakima's pulse. It was slowly rising. She would awaken soon.

I sat on the edge of the bed. I took of the coat and placed it over her. I still had my weapons. They didn't check me for them.

I ran my hand through my hair. Things were going as they should.

Tony, the slimy asshole, called me the night I went back home to England. He told me about his premonition and what I should do. He told me about Yakima. About the prophecy.

Apparently, Yakima and I were soul sisters. We each had a part of each other souls. We shared the opposite of each others powers, but when combined, they manifest into something new. Together, we , according to Tony, could command any supernatural and they had to obey us.

He said we weren't meant to find each other for the next 1000 years, but when one was in danger, the meeting speeds up. He said that we could do great evil or great good. The last soul sisters were born over a millennium ago and they were in fact the ones who started the last great war. This current prophecy says that we were going to start the war, but the rest is confusing, which is why the elders and everyone said it was bogus.

Besides, they never thought I'd be one of the soul sisters.

Yakima's groan brought me out of my musing. She flew up, gasping and panicky.

I grabbed her shoulders. My arms caught fire. I put it out, but didn't touch her again.

"Yakima. Calm down. It's me. Katrina"

"Katrina?!"

"Yea. The incubi Romario took us"

She gripped me in a tight hug, sobbing. I hugged her back.

"That was horrible. That thing he shot me with. I felt like I was drowning and burning at the same time"

"It's OK. They aren't going to hurt you again"

She eventually calmed down, pulling away.

"Sorry I set your hands on fire"

I laughed "it's OK"

"What are they going to with us?"

I told her everything about them and Tony. She started pacing halfway through.

"What. That's crazy. They can't do that. Do they know how detrimental that could be for everyone, including them?"

"They don't care. They just want to rule the world"

She plopped down beside me.

"I hate wolves. Lost my first mate to one"

"You had many mates too?"

She chuckled. "Yes I did. My second mate was a wolf. I killed him when he started to get too possessive and tried to chain me down. My third mate was an incubi. Another incubi killed him. My fourth mate was a gargoyle"

I laughed. "Seriously?!"

"Yep. You know how they are. Someone killed him because he just couldn't shut up and chill. That was a 100 years ago. I've being alone since" she looked sad.

"What about you?"

I told her all about my failed matings. She looked horrified, but cheered up and looked hopeful once I told her about Alexei.
