I have been at the clearing about ten minutes now. I was beginning to think that I  had imagined everything.

Where the hell was he?

I was sitting on branch in the tree. And I was starting to get hungry. And sleepy. And pissed.

Where the fuck is he???

I was bored out of my mind.

If he doesn't show up in the next twenty seconds I'm going back home.

"Didn't you know patience is a virtue"

His deep voice totally startled me, I almost fell out of the tree. Looking down, I saw him there, smirking up at me.

I bit my lip. Did I say that out loud? Is he reading my mind? Get the hell out!!

"I'm not reading your mind. You're musing out loud" he was laughing at me.

I glared down at him. He had me here so damn long I started to talk to myself.

"Why don't you come down?"

"Why don't you come up?" I challenged.

"Do you really want me that close to you?"

Did I want that? Yes. No. Shut up.

I hopped out the tree and landed on the soft ground.

"Why did you want me here?"I wanted to get this over with so I could go home and sleep.

"I just wanted to see you"

"You just wanted to see me??"

I laughed at that. A normal person would wait until it was normal hours. Not the middle of the night.

"Could you not wait until later down today?"

"Nope"

A lopsided grin was on his beautiful face. I stopped breathing for a second. He was so frickin beautiful. His grey eyes were gleaming and had a mischievous look in them.

He's so pretty.

I shook my head. Don't think about that Kat. Don't think about that.

He walked up to me, staring into my eyes. My breathe hitched all over again. His hand reached towards my face and he started stroking my cheek. All sorts of feelings started to well up inside me.

I stepped away. It was too much.

"Let's go for a walk" he said suddenly.

"Go for a walk where. There's nothing interesting in these woods to see"

"Where would you like to go? We'll go anywhere"

"How will we do that?"

"Just trust me"

I stated into his bright eyes. Trust. That's a very big word. I don't know him. Yet apart of me trusted him. Maybe it was just our bond.

"I want to go to Paris" I said off the top of my head. He said he could take me anywhere.
