40- Epilogue

Few years later.

It took  a while, but things gradually went back to normal.

We had a ceremony for Alberto a few weeks after the war. Jac was unbelievable strong, not breaking once throughout the entire ordeal.

Alexei really helped me through it all. And my family did too. If i didn't have them, I don't know what I would do.

The news had reports of what happened that day. They came to some stupid conclusion that some gas or something must have affected the air and some stupid shit. I didn't really pay attention. I knew what really happened.

Andriano is dead, but noone wants to tell me how I killed him. And I didn't want to know either. Just as long as he was dead, I'm happy.

We had funerals for the men fallen in the war too. They would be remembered as brave and valiant.

The Council came out it better. Revising most of their rules to be more fair and "for the people". The demons sent a representative to be apart of it. Amarillo was very helpful and intuitive, just what the council needed.

Jace become the council member for the vamps. Kass didn't want to be it anymore, so she gave up her position, choosing instead to move to Italy to live with her mate, Dynasti.

I was happy for them, and they made a really hot couple.

Jace  turned out to be Yakima's official mate, which she was very happy about. She didn't just give into him though. He had to " court " her as she put.

I felt Sorry for him. That courting could take decades. But they had decades, so he was totally fine.

Alexei asked me to move with him to his kingdom. I said yes of course. He was my mate, I would go any where he goes.

Yakima was going to head council, since she was staying, and Alexei was sending in a new Rep, wanting to focus on his people and me.

Right now, we all sat around Dyny's huge kitchen table filled with all sorts of food. We were laughing and talking, enjoying ourselves, happy that despite all, we came through. Celeste, Dyny and Alexei's mother was also here. She and Jac really connected, becoming quick friends. She was one of the main person who helped her cope with Alberto's death.

"So" Kass stood up, clanking on a glass, " I have an announcement to make"

I snickered. I already knew this announcement. Alexei shot me glare.

I smirked. I wasn't going to say anything.

"Are you leaving Dynasti?" Jace piped in, smirking in their direction.

Yakima slapped him on his shoulder, threatening to leave him if he didn't shut up. Kass smiled at her grateful. Jace was pouting like a little boy.

"Anyways. We," she pulled up Dynasti who looked stunning in a deep purple dress,"are getting married "

Everyone cheered, congratulating them. Our mothers stood, giving them hugs.

"And" Dyny started.

"There's more?" Jac looked just as surprised as everyone else.

What more could there be?" They must be done think.

I snickered, and Kass and Alexei glowered at me.

I shrugged, smirking. They need to chill.

"Yes. We are pregnant"
