I went for a run.
I had to see them.
That's the only thing that could calm me down.
I wanted to kill something. Anything.

How the hell did they get that sword?

After, that message, the smoke cleared away. My family ran up to me, all looking concerned and asking why I went inside the smoke and what was even in the smoke. I was frozen to the spot, the words delivered a few moments ago replaying in my head.

A scream from Kass broke me out of my trance. Inside the car was a boy whose face I only saw once but couldn't forget. I turned to Kass, wrapping my arms around her. She sagged into my arm, her breathing hollow and short.

"H-h-he's dead. I can't believe it. H-h-how can he be dead?"

I stroked her back, trying to calm her down. The beta of our neighbouring wolf pack, and according to Kass her mate, was a mangled mess in the car. His limbs were ripped and his body broken.

People from all over the complex was standing off in the distance, too scared to come any closer, if their murmurs were anything to go by.

The message was delivered and the war pledged.

A howl in the distance alerted us. Looking out, a group of wolfs, led by the Alpha Terrence, was heading straight towards us. Upon reaching the car, the pack shifted. Terrence and Sandra made there way to the car, stark naked, and looked at Lukas. Terrence let out a loud howl, mourning his beta. The pack joined in and soon the entire area was filled with the howling wolves. Kass clutched me harder, crying even more. Sandra made her way towards us. She sagged beside Kass, hugging her, and started crying too. I tried to comfort both of them, but I wasn't big on that sort of thing. I called Jace over and said to him to get something to cover Sandra and to help me get them back to the house. He took off, and returned at few seconds later. He picked up a still crying Kass and took her to the house. I wrapped Sandra in the blanket and told her to go back to the house. Nodding, she made her way to it.

I turned to Alberto, Jac, Terrence and a few other people. Terrence eyes were rapidly shifting colour; he was trying not to loose control. Alberto was analysing the car, trying to sniff out a scent. Jac was looking at me.

"Why did you go in the smoke Katrina?"

"It had a message. For me. "

"What message?" Alberto asked walking up to me, followed closely by Jac and Terrence.

"Do you know who sent it. Cause i will kill them. Lukas will he avenged" Terrence growled out.

"This is not a conversation we want to have here. You don't know who could be listening"

"Let's go back to the house. We'll talk there" Jac said.

"I'll see you guys soon. There's something I have to do"

"What? No! We have to talk now" Terrence said, grabbing my arm.

My anger, which was on a short leash, snapped.

Where Terrence hand rested on my skin slowly began to frost. He pulled away quickly, but I didn't stop. His scream pierced through the air.

"W-w-what the hell are you doing?" He grounded out.

This pack members surrounded us, growling at me.

I hissed a them and they all stepped back. I turned to the alpha.

"Do not touch me again if you value your life. We will talk when I get back. Are we understood? "

I stared in his now golden eyes. His wolf was trying really hard to not obey me, but that was not not going to happen. Getting tired of this, I increased the cold..it was slowing his heart.

"I said are we understood"

Terrence dropped to the ground, showing his neck in surrender.

"Yes.. We are"

Releasing my magic, I walked away from them, ignoring Alberto's and Jac's calls.

I took off in a run, my destination clear in my mind.
*****************
That's how I ended up here. In front a huge cave entrance, a scowl on my face. I knew she wouldn't be happy about my just dropping by like this, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Taking a deep breathe to calm my nerves and my anger, I recited a line I thought I wouldn't have to use anytime soon.

"Mother, I come to you seeking your help. Show yourself to me"

A soft glow came from deep within the cave. I made my way towards it. Inside the cave was chilly, but it didn't affect me. I was more focused on getting to my mother, or more specifically, my step-dad. I arrived at the light, only to see Charon there, looking at me with a smirk on his hideous face.

"What are you doing here Princess? Didn't they tell you not to come here unless necessary?" His raspy voice wrapped around me.

I rolled my eyes. Charon seriously had no chill. And I didn't have time for his games.

"Take me to my mother right now" I commanded him.

He flinched back, bowing his head, and hissing under his breathe.

"At once Princess. You know what to do"

I rolled my eyes. How could I forget. Relaxing my mind, I wrapped the scent of the horrid cave around me, letting it become one with me, replacing my natural scent.

"Is that OK?" I asked, annoyed.

I really needed to get to where I wanted to go now. But no one entered this place without Charon knowing.

"Just perfect Princess. You know the way. They have being altered to your presence"

I nodded and took off, stepping out of the light. I glanced around, taking in familiar surroundings. I was getting a sense of nostalgia. I hadn't realized how much I had missed the place.

Shaking the feeling, I took of in a run towards the huge dark palace that was in the distance. It was time to see my parents, the King and Queen of the Underworld.

A/N: *GASP* Who was expecting that????? Lol. Things are getting mighty interesting aren't they. Any who, remember:
