Crystal Water Cove

Chimney's POV

I glanced back over my shoulder. I'm letting go of everything. Why am I risking my life like this? Maybe, maybe, the paranormal forces and humans can come to an agreement. It would be better for all of us.

I saw Dan fidgeting with a map."The next land mark is Crystal Water Cove, a 6 mile walk from here. It's waters are deadly poisoned with many different chemicals. A famous battle went down here about 100 years ago. It's amazing how we can just go back in time."

"Yeah..."Toby and Emma said at the same time."History is cool...!"

We laughed.

"You don't need to like it."Diamond smiled."You only need to get an A in it so your parents don't kill you. Gosh, thinking back to it, when I was 10 I got a B in history."

"Our parents killed her."Ant laughed."She had to cook every meal, scrub every floor-with a swiffer I might add. She almost strangled me."

"Siblings."Emma laughed."I'm glad I don't have any. Speaking of siblings, have you ever wondered if you had anyone else in your family?"

"I've always wondered, but I asked everyone I knew and they said I didn't."Dan said."But I had a cousin. A few I think. But I never really got around to talking to them."

"We are family!"Toby started singing."All my brothers and sisters and me!"

"So, you have a big family?"I asked.

"No. I'm a Lone Ranger."

We all burst out laughing.

"I used to have a brother named Sly back home, but he moved out quickly."Quake said.

I glanced over at Diamond and Ant. They exchanged nervous glances. What was up with them?

"And then I had a best friend named Mario, or Red as we called him. But he began to bully me under peer pressure. Everything went down hill."

I felt bad for her. I wrapped an arm around her. She looked up and an evil grin spread across her face.

"We're very close to the Cove."she said."Last one there is a rotten creeper!"she took of running.

I saw the two creativers fly past me. But I wasn't giving up easily. I dodged Dan and zoomed past Toby. Emma jumped on me.

"Woooooo!"she screamed."Best day ever!"

I was now tied with Diamond. She glanced over and pulled ahead. I pushed her mid flight, right into the poisoness waters of Crystal Water Cove.
