Mouth to Mouth Gets Dirty

Emma's POV

I sat in a dark abyss. There was nothing. I looked down at my arm. It was still there. I looked down at my leg. It was covered in small scars, but besides that, I was fine.

And then I saw a small blue light flying towards me. I touched it. It exploded into a million orbs. They zoomed towards me. Everything went black.

"It won't work! We'll have to do mouth to mouth!"

"I can't do it. Sorry peeps."

"I'll do it."

"You can not do it."

"Can too."

"Can not."

"Stop! Just..."

I felt strong hands press on my rib-cage. My heart slowly began beating. But it wasn't enough. A few more pushes.

Cold lips pressed down around my lips. Air slowly filled my lungs. And then the lips slowly kissed mine.

I was kissing a guy.

I sprang up, breathing hard. I hit heads with Toby who had leaned over me. The one who had given me mouth to mouth.

The one who had kissed me.

Everyone's faces were shocked. There was an awkward silence on the desert.

"You saw that?"Toby asked.

They slowly nodded.

I slapped Toby across the face."You are so stupid! I can't believe you did that! I would never kiss a guy in a million years!"

I stormed away.

"It was instinct! I swear!"

Tears streamed down my face."I don't freaking care!"

I sat on the sand. Toby came up next to me. The sun was slowly going down.

"So, you like me?"I asked.

He nodded."I'm sorry about earlier. It's just, your strawberry hair, your hazel eyes...your beautiful!"

I smile lightly."Thank you. But...I'm not capable of love. I've tried before. It didn't work out."

He kissed me on the cheek."It'll work out between us."

"Maybe."

And we kissed on the lips.
