Diamond's POV
(Sings Let it Go :3)
I stood in the center of the large room. I flew downstairs, only to be greeted with two glowing, white eyes. I stumbled backwards. Sky held a hand out to me. I backed away.
"No!"I yelled at the top of my lungs.
"If you want to play that way, we can."
He grab me by the neck and threw me against the wall. Pain seared through my body. I couldn't do anything but run. I lifted myself up and dashed out the window. There was a magnetic pull to go back, but I knew I couldn't. In the distance, I saw the facility. It's concrete walls were a defense to something like him. I looked behind me. He was gone.
The group was outside. I dashed right into their conversation and hugged Dan. Everyone hugged us.
"I'm sorry I left guys."
"It's natural to."Quake said, taking my hands."I'm the reason this whole thing started."
"We forgive you."Toby said.
"But you won't forgive me when I tell you that I saw Sky."
"You did?"Emma asked."That's the second time. Gosh, now that I think about it, he must really hate us!"
"Ya think."Toby said, sarcastically.
"We should go."I said."Sundown is in a few hours. We might as well get a move on."
We waved goodbye to everyone. We especially thanked Pause and Etho for letting us stay.
"Well."Dan twisted the map around as we got back onto the trail."Did anyone pack water bottles. The next thing is a desert."
"Ooo!"Toby exclaimed."Like, the trees are lollipops and the clouds are cotton candy and-"
"It's desert!"Dan yelled."Not dessert! Now, did you?"
We shook our heads.
He grimaced."That stinks."

We reached the beginning of the desert at sundown. We set up camp and peacefully went to sleep. And slowly, without us knowing, the facility was burned to the ground.

I am soooo sorry that I haven't been updating. I've had school things and chores to do around the house. Nudged and Left in the Dust have also gotten in the way.
