Sky's POV (probably weren't expecting that were you?)

I sit down on the cold, hard ground. The two ghosts come and sit next to me also.

"Really?"the girl asks me."Sulking?"

I nod my head.

"Give 'im time."the man said."It'll only be a few hours."

"Just leave me alone!"I yelled, thrusting fire at one of them, even though I knew that I couldn't hit them.

The girl one backed up."Gosh dude, quiet down."

Diamond's POV

I sat alone by the make-do hospital bed that Quake lied in. I brushed aside her long brown hair out of her eyes.

"Please."I whispered."Wake up."

Chimney burst into the room. He had a few bandages around his head an scars all over his face.

"Su-"he looked at Quake."p."he dropped off at the end."Is she gonna be okay?"

"I think."I said, rushing over to him and hugging him."It happens over and over to the ones I love! Why does it happen?"

"I'm not sure."he said, hugging me back."We just need to be patient. She'll be back. I promise."

The door opened. Vintage walked in.

"They said-"

"It'd be a few days."I choked, tears streaming down my face. I ran from the room into the dark hallways of the facility.

Heads turned. People tried to grab me.

"Stop!"I screamed, lightning shooting from my hands."Back away from me!"every single time.

I continued running. Through the doors, through the half-broken windows; my boots pounded against the concrete floors, yearning to get away. Quake's life would have to wait. For now, I needed to get away.
