Jungle Song

Chimney's POV

As we reached the dense jungle, there was a sudden feel of a thousand eyes staring at me. What was out here? It was my first time being here in a while and I never really studied biomes that well. There's another use that school could've come in handy.

"So, which way?"Toby said, snatching the map from Dan. He looked at it carefully, almost like he didn't know where it led to.

"It's upside down."Dan said, rolling his eyes.

We shared a laugh.

"I knew that."Toby said, turning it the right way."I was just checking to see how much progress we made. We go forward."

I heard a huge smack. I turned around to see Diamond's hand in her face.

"Facepalm."she said."Of course it's forward."

I shoved aside a bush. Suddenly, the sound of an electric guitar playing behind me. Toby and Diamond were slowly swaying together, Toby playing.

"Please. Not now."I said.

"In the jungle that we roam, to search and find and to explore. All we all we all we all know. All we all we don't know."Diamond sang.

We shoved aside a few more bushes. A tropical waterfall crashed water into a small pond. A tiger sat near it, but didn't look up to see us.

"Pushing back, remove the leaves to find something bigger than me. All we all we all know. All we all we don't know. So far so good, so don't turn back. So far so good."

We slowly crept past the tiger and immersed deeper into the jungle. Emma hacked away the plants with her daggers.

"It's been hard trying to find the best of it. I'm always hung up on the risk. Don't know, but think about it."

"Guys, let's climb a tree so we see the end of a jungle. Or somewhere to work to."I said, breaking out of the song. Everyone nodded in agreement.
