There he Is...

Diamond's POV

After what happened yesterday...I can't believe he likes Emma. He fought with Dan over me. It feels like he was cheating on me.

I was still happy for her though. She met someone. At least someone likes her. Someone to fill the hole in her heart that I made. She hates me, I can tell.

"We should get going."Dan said."We need to gain as much ground as we can."

I nodded and stood up. My legs were shaking. I had a hard time breathing. That healing had winded me.

"Here,"Dan wrapped his arm around me."This better?"

I nodded."Thanks."

He smiled."So, your brother...what are you going to do?"

"Don't bring it up."I said."Please. It only brings pain. He hid that secret from me forever and...and-"

The sun slowly went down on the desert. I heard more sand-howlers on the mountains. I wasn't scared though. The things that Quake did were amazing. I wondered what else she could do.

"Hey look!"Chimney called, pointing to a massive hill in the distance."It's a temple."

As we neared, the temple became more visible. Lights were on inside. I knew this was where Sky was.

We slipped inside. Hiding behind one if the pillars, my brother paced the room, talking to himself. Tears slid down his face every so often. But I knew this wouldn't stop him from destroying all of man-kind.

I tripped and fell over Dan's foot.

"Uf!"I hit the ground.

Sky slowly turned his head towards me, a shocked and angry feeling written on his face.

And then it turned all to anger.

Slowly, nether-rack rose from the ground. The great wall stood three times taller than me. He thrust his hands out, towards us. The wall engulfed us.

There was no safety torch to save us.
