Chapter 12

I can not wait to get off this flight and finally have Wren back in my arms where she belongs. The ring I bought her is in my pocket. The first thing I am going to do is put it on her finger so the world knows that she belongs to me. The guys think that I am rushing things, but I have never felt about anybody the way I feel about Wren. I know it my heart that she is the one for me. I want spend the rest of my life loving her.

I am being shaken awake. It is time to put on your seatbelt we are fixing to land sir.

I fasten my seat belt and try to wake up so that my eyes will focus. Once we have landed I am one of the first ones off the plane in my hurry to see Wren. Grabbing my luggage from baggage claim I start looking for my beautiful baby girl. I finally spot a sign with my name on it, but there is not sign of Wren. She must have sent a car for me.

My name is Michael Clifford.

Michael I am Ethan Wren's friend. We kind of met on face time.

Where's Wren Ethan? Is she too caught up in her drawing to come pick me up?

No there has been an accident. Wren is in the hospital. We couldn't let you know sooner because you were on the plane. I am here to carry you straight to the hospital.

Is she okay? How bad are her injuries?

She is in a coma. She has some really bad head trauma. Her skull is fractured in several places. They did emergency surgery to relieve some of the pressure from the swelling of her brain. They are trying to get her stable enough to check her for other injuries. They suspect some broke ribs and her left wrist is broken. Michael she wanted to tell you when she got here. She was pregnant, but she miscarried from the trauma of the accident.

All that I want to know right now is that she is going to be okay?

I don't know. Let's get you to the hospital.

Has anyone got a hold of her brother yet?

Cody and the rest of your band are on the way. They will call when they land. I am so sorry that this is happening.
