The Torture Tour

Chapter 15

It has been eight months since my accident and four since I have been out of the hospital. It has been a long road, but I am finally back on my feet and out of the wheel chair. Tonight is the opening for my exhibit at the gallery. I have sent out invitations to Harry, Liam, Louis, and Nialls along with all of Pierce the Veil to come to the opening. I am really proud of my exhibit. It is a mixture of sketches, charcoal drawings, and paintings. I finished the song that I wrote at the party with my family.

Trevor asked to record it and I gave him permission to use the song. I asked that all the profits from my share be donated to a local hospital to help build their new children's ward.

I am currently getting dressed for the opening at the gallery. It is a formal event and I can't wait to see Einstein dressed for the occasion. I have just slipped into the black dress I bought for the occasion when Michael walks in with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I find myself watching him while biting my lip. I wish we had time for me and Michael to have a quickie.

I know what you are thinking baby girl and that will have to wait until later tonight. We need to leave in thirty minutes so get a move on.

I will be ready in ten I tell Michael slipping on my heels before heading over to my vanity to put on what little makeup I am going to wear. I line my eyes with black liner before putting on two layers of mascara and finishing with a red matte lipstick.

You look beautiful Wren. Come on the car is waiting for us.

No one has seen my exhibit so I am nervous about what everyone is going to think.

Everyone is going to love it. You are too talented for them not to love it.

Thanks Einstein. You know that I painted you.

I know I wish you would have let me see it.

You will see it tonight Einstein. I love you.

I love you too Michael says helping me into the car where everyone is waiting on us. Luke and Calum are the only two without a date.

Hey guys where are your dates. You know that you have a plus one.

Me and Cal are going together. We are the single Pringles.

You all look nice. Bishop I love the dress. I am so glad that you got to come. I know that you are really busy with school.

I wouldn't have missed this for anything. I can't wait to see what you have done. It is going to be awesome.

We open the champagne chilling in the car and Calum makes a toast to me and Michael to the success of tonight, and to the chances he has of hooking up tonight.

We all laugh at the last comment before taking a sip of our champagne. I don't finish mine because I have been feeling sick lately. I think that I might be pregnant. Me and Michael haven't talked about trying again, but his condom broke on us two months ago. I feel my stomach twist in knots with worry about what Michael's reaction will be.

What are you thinking about so hard?

I am really nervous and scared that no one will like my work tonight.

I know that everyone is going to love your work now quit worrying.

We pull up to the entrance of the gallery and we all climb out Michael helping me out of the car. Tonight is going to be a long night because I still have some pain when I am really tired.
