The next week really flew by and before I know it. It is almost time for Michael to get on his plane heading this way.

Are you excited? What am I saying of course you are excited?

Thank you for taking me sight seeing today. I was going stir crazy in the house trying to work on my show.

You are really going to love where I am taking you.

All of a sudden there is a big crush and then nothing as I slip into blackness.

Are you okay? We saw the idiot run you off the road. He didn't even bother stopping to see if you are okay.

I don't know. Wren are you okay? Wren answer me sweetie. I don't want to be the one to tell Michael that you are hurt. Come on wake up for me.

I try to wake up. I can't make my eyes open. Everything sounds distorted around me, and I wonder where I am. My body feels really heavy and I can feel myself drifting off again.

Please tell me how Wren is doing.

I am sorry we are waiting for her family to get here. Since you are not family we can't tell you anything.

Have you talked to her brother?

We have been trying to get a hold of her brother, but we have not managed it.

I have his cell phone number let me try to give him a call.

With shaking hands Ethan dials the number that Wren had given him for her brother.

Hello who the hell is this? It better be good I have a bloody hang over from hell.

It this Cody Wren's brother?

Yes this is Wren's brother. How may I help you? Is she giving out my number again?

This is Ethan Wren's friend from Australia. I called because Wren has been in an accident and the hospital hasn't been able to get a hold of you. They won't tell me how she is doing because I am not family. I do know that they have her in the ICU.

Fuck! Okay Michael is already on the way now. His plane should land sometime around two tomorrow. I will take the next available flight. I will let the boys know Michael is going to need their support, and frankly so will I. I need to let my husband know. I will call you back at this number to let you know the details.

Was anyone else in the accident with her? Do you know what happened?

I was with her and we were run off the road by some idiot. Her side of the vehicle took the worst of the hit. She didn't even look like she was alive when I last saw her. Cody she is pregnant. She just found out this morning. Chances are probably not good that the baby survived so be prepared.

She hasn't even had a chance to tell Michael. I will be there as soon as I can. If you find out anything try to let me know. Can you text me the name and number of the hospital that she is in. Maybe they will tell me something over the phone. I am going to tell them that you are her half brother just play along with it. When they give you an update call me. If I don't answer text me.

We were informed that you are Wren's half brother. Yes what can you tell me about my sister's condition?

She is in a medically induced coma right now. She has suffered a very traumatic brain injury. She was miscarrying her baby when she was brought in. We stopped the bleeding. Her brain is swelling. We had to carry her into emergency surgery to relieve some of the pressure. We don't know the full extent of her injuries. Our main concern has been stabilizing her. Once we are sure that she is stable. We will be running test and checking her for other injuries. We suspect that she has broken ribs, and her left wrist appears to be broken. She has broken bones in her face that are more than likely going to require surgery to reconstruct. She has several fractures of the skull. We suspect that she may have hit head on with the tree. That is all we know at this time.

Thank you I need to call our brother. Hopefully I can catch him before he gets on a plane.

Cody I just got an update on Wren. She is suffering from a very traumatic brain injury. She was rushed into surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain from the swelling. They have her in a medically induced coma. She had a miscarriage. They are trying to get her stable enough to check her for any further injuries. They suspect she has broke ribs and said that her left wrist is broken. Her skull is also fractured in several places. That is all they can tell me right now. They don't know anything about the extent of the brain damage if she even has brain damage.

Thank you for calling me. Me and the boys will be boarding a plane in the next two hours. I am sending you Michael's flight number so that you can find out the time he will be landing. Please meet him at the airport and get him straight to the hospital. It will be on you to tell him about the accident. Thank you for being there for my sister. I didn't ask earlier, but are you okay?

Yeah I only got some scrapes and brushes. I will be sore for a little while, but I am okay.

Don't worry about finding a place to stay. I think everyone will fit at the house Wren has been staying in.

Send me an address and maybe have some one meet us there so we can drop off our luggage before heading to the hospital.

I will have one of my dad's meet you there. Call me when you land and I will make sure that somebody is there.
