The Torture Tour

Chapter 13

It has been four months since Wren's accident. The boy's finished the tour without Michael since he refused to leave her side. Michael hasn't even given himself time to mourn the lose of their baby. The stress and worrying of waiting on Wren to wake up have started taking there toll on Michael.

Come on Michael man you need to get some rest. I know that you don't want to leave her side, but she would want you to take care of yourself. Cody will be here with her and he will call if there has been any change. You need a good meal and a bed to rest in for about twelve hours Ashton says. You also need a shower you are really starting to stink.

I am scared if I leave that I will lose her. I want one of you here talking to her while I am gone. I am only willing to leave for four hours then I am coming right back here with or without your help.

I will stay Ashton says. Go I will call you immediately if anything changes at all.

No one has been in her room since her accident so it is exactly the way it was the last time she left it.

I walk into Wren's room looking around. I catch sight of the pregnancy test on the night stand. The sight of it saying positive makes the fact that we lost a baby real. There is a big folder lying on the bed. I pick it up looking inside. It is the pictures Wren took the day before her accident. I pull them out looking through them. I pick the one of her lying on her side with her favorite tattoo showing and I stare at it not realizing that I am sobbing.

Are you okay Michael Luke asks from the door? Walking into the room he sits beside Michael seeing what Michael is holding. Wow!

Hey man eyes off my girl. She was having my baby the test is on the night stand. Seeing that made it real. We lost our baby before we even had a chance to be happy.

She is going to be okay and there will be plenty of chances for the two of you to start a family. It wasn't meant to be this time. Now you need to lie down and get a nap. We will wake you up in three hours, and then you can eat and grab a shower before heading back to the hospital. She needs you to be strong for when she wakes up so you need to take care of yourself. You are going to have to help each other through everything.

I am being shaken awake what feels like a few minutes later. Wake up man. She is awake and asking for you Einstein. I am immediately awake.

Go grab a shower and get on some clean clothes. Pizza is on the way should be here any minute so we will eat on the way. We are leaving in thirty so get ready. You get to see your woman again get a move on it.

Where is Einstein and why isn't he here right now. He isn't in trouble is he?

No he went back to the house to get some rest and grab a shower and bite to eat. I called him he will be here shortly.

You're not lying to me are you I ask Ashton.

No he is on his way I promise.

He wants to marry me. We are having a baby together. Did he tell you?

Wren baby you were in an accident and you lost the baby. Michael has already been told. He has been waiting for you to wake up for four months so he could tell you how much he loves you.

I lost the baby. What kind of accident? I need Michael you're lying to me I start crying and trying to get out of the hospital bed. I am going to find Michael.

Wren calm down Michael will be here in a few minutes. He hasn't left the hospital since you were admitted. We finally convinced him to take a short break and go home.
