I walk in my room and close the door, I place my new dress in my closet on the model mannequin waiting for the day of the bouquet. I flop on my bed with my phone in my hand, thinking the usual of how I won't have a date for this dance. I don't want to admit if but it really bothers me how I never....really had a boyfriend or my first kiss or anything like that.

it's so embarrassing I find my self starting to cry because it's my last banquet and I don't have a date and I always said that this one was gonna be my year to have a date and have a chance to slow dance. it's Sunday and the banquet is Friday, I mean I still have time but I doubt a lot of people don't have a date. I get a text on my phone from this FWD message that tells you when there's a party!

*VIA IMESSAGE:*

FWD: hey! Party at Brice Hamilton's at 7:00... girls for free boys for 10 or if you bring something you can get in for free! DONT MISS OUT ITS GONNA BE A BANGER! SEE YA THERE!

I don't respond no ever does, I text jacey and Kelly in a group chat asking if they got it and if they were gonna go,

JAS: hey did you guys get a FWD text talking about Brice's party if so are you gonna go?

KELLY: hell yeah Brice always throws good parties

I'm actually really hype for this party, even though it's on a Sunday Brice does throw good parties, even though I'm not drinking which is a first I wanna actually remember tonight.
