"Michelle, Peter asked me out!" I said joyfully "Well, I sort of ordered him to but he wanted to." I shrugged.

I couldn't figure out her expression.
"So, you. You're together now?" She said, breaking up a bit.

"Well, we haven't gone on a date yet. So no, not officially." I said. Something was not right."Mish, what's wrong?"

"I have a crush on Peter. I don't show it or like, even talk to him properly but I do. And after Liz left, I really thought I had a chance. I was wrong. He only had, has eyes for you. I saw that the minute you stepped on the roof on New Year's." She said, in an emotionless voice as usual.

I couldn't believe it. I..Michelle likes Peter? Wow. You really never know.

"MJ, if you want me to cancel us, just tell me, ok? You're my friend and I don't screw over friends." It'd hurt but it'd hurt more seeing her unhappy.

"No." She said, in a determined voice.

"Really? Because..."

"I'm sure." She looked up and gave me a tight smile and then went back to sketching.

"Ok. I'm going to the library now."

"Bye. Just don't tell Peter. Or anyone else."

"I won't. I promise. And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I gripped her shoulder.

"I know." was all she said.

Saturday evening (around 5)~

Knock, knock.

"Come in, webhead." I said without looking up from Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince.

"So, you want a casual casual date or a formal date?" Spider-Man asked me. Peter was in his suit. He came in almost everyday wearing it, giving me a heart attack the first day. I had almost gotten over the shock that he was Spider-Man.

"Casual. But not like skinny dipping casual." I told him.

"No, I'm not forward enough or cocky enough or even non-awkward enough to see you naked on the first date. McDonald's burgers okay?"

"They're better than you. And that's saying something." I grinned.

"Cool. So, I'll see you in two hours. Ok, and wear shorts if you don't want to dirty your jeans. I know how precious they are to you. " He smiled at me and climbed out.

"Now, what to wear?"
Shorts of course but on top? The red? Or blue? The grey. He likes grey, I like grey. Not to mention, red and blue are his colours.

A side ponytail would do. Make up? Eyeliner and light lip gloss.

I'm ready.

On cue, a knock sounded on the door.

I went out, blushed(Peter looked amazing. He was wearing a light blue tee shirt with Star Wars on it and Bermuda shorts.), glared at my mom for teasing us and finally left.

"You wanna swing or catch a cab?" He asked me.

"You gonna let me die?' I asked back.

"No. Not on purpose." He said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'll risk it. Something you have to be familiar with when you just might be going out with Spider-Man."
