"I need to go." Peter whispered from behind me in Economics.
"Now? We're in the middle of class." I whispered back. Not subtly enough apparent cuz Ms. Towers made us stand outside.
"I hate you. I'm anyway behind on work. I can't keep being thrown out of classrooms because of you, babe." I rolled my eyes.
He looked worried. "I really do need to go. Tony said it's extremely urgent and said Iron Spider. That's a word for extremely dangerous situations." He stepped close.
I breathed. I widened my eyes. I was scared. "Da-dangerous?"
"Yeah. Look, I don't know when I'll be back but if I need to go somewhere right now, I swear I'll tell you. Somehow." He kissed me, with passion and fear of life and then ran out.
"Be safe." I whispered as I watched him go.
