Along Came A Spidey

CHAPTER 21

Mid June

"Can I sit?" Sanya asked as she stood next to Michelle's table.

"Sure. You always get what you want, anyway." She muttered. 

However, she kept standing. Michelle looked at her, surprised. "I said you can sit." Enunciating the last word.

"Not if you say it like that. But I've been standing an hour, give or take cuz of gym so I will sit." Sanya said, looking sheepish. She sat down.

She opened her mouth to speak but Michelle cut across her.

"Is it true you and Peter are living together?" 

"How does everyone know that!? I thought part of being a weird loner is that no one knows anything about? Literally, every student in this school who knows we exist has asked me that." The girl was annoyed. She had no wish for the whole school to find out that not only were she and Peter sleeping together, they were also living together.

She suddenly remembered what Peter told her about him and Tony one day.

(Start flashback)

"You won't believe what happened yesterday when Mr. Stark called me!"

"What? Peter, now? In the middle of-" She looked annoyed.

"I just remembered, I'm sorry. I promise we'll get back to it, soon."

"Oh, fine." She paused the Harry Potter movie that was playing. (Betcha didn't see that coming)

"He called me and said it was an emergency. So I went. In a hurry. All panicking. Then-" he rolled his eyes "There he says he's gonna help me get a girlfriend. Says he's a father figure to me....I guess he is....and it's his job. Somehow, he'd roped Happy into this too. Ms. Hill was there too. Said she thought it'd be fun to watch. I was so shocked that he got through half his presentation before I managed to say a word.

"Mr. Stark....I don't need this...." I muttered. I was bright red, to match my suit. 

Tony looked annoyed. "I'm trying to help you, kid. You're 16! You need to know how to get a girl."

"I already have a girl....... Sanya, the Spider-Man fan that was here?" 

"Oh, her....wait, how do I know you're not lying?" He narrowed his eyes.

"I can call her." I suggested.

"Maybe she's been trained to say 'yes' if anyone asks that. I remember you said she was your best friend." Tony protests, looking even more suspicious.

I thought about what to do. He's a crazy man. Genius but crazy. Showing him my hickey was pretty much my last chance but I refused to let him, after the whole Midtown High population finding out, find out. 

But the whole thing was taken out of my hands.

"You're the biggest and most oblivious idiot in the universe, Tony."  Ms. Hill suddenly says.

He looked like a kicked puppy. "Why?" 

"Didn't you see the hickeys on Peter's neck? They're almost as big as your ego, for God's sake." She scoffs.

He lifted my jacket collar and when he saw my hickeys, he nearly fainted." Peter ended with a huge smile.

"He was probably jealous that you're getting luckier than he is." His girlfriend laughs.
