this was the song that my mom and stepdad fell in love to.
my mom loves to tell me that this song is about me and that the carpenters knew that i was going to be born.
i think my favorite part of the song is the moon dust. doesn't it seem magical? how one song can bring two people together and help them fall in love. love, such a powerful word, no?
i mean it's the only word that i know about that can both destroy or heal someone. heartbreak, tragic. falling in love, beautiful. being in love, tiring. how can one word produce so many emotions?
