Raph's POV

The other night was rough for us against the Shredder. I thought we were going to get killed, the only reason we didn't was because Shredder ran! I'm confused about that, none of us four understand it.

Leo got hurt, his stomach was bleeding a bit from Shredder's blade. Donnie put bandages on it and he said it'll heal in a bit. He'll be fine, but for now he's just in a little bit of pain.

It's been two nights since the fight, and all of us are wondering what was in that jar? "I don't know what happened, not our last fight against Shredder, but the time before that it seemed like we were almost evenly matched with the Shredder! Now a month later we fight and the four of us are lucky to come out with our lives!" Leo explains sounding frustrated.

If I'm being honest, I am too. There is no way that Shredder had gotten that much better in a month, he must've been going easy on us then. If that was the case, why would he try so hard now, especially if he was just going to run!

"Leo, maybe we've become too cocky with ourselves," Donnie explains. "We were over confident with ourselves going into the fight two nights ago."

"I guess you're right Donnie, but I still am confused with the night. Whatever Shredder tried throwing at us, why did he tell us he had a cure?" Leo asks.

"I think we should be more concerned of what he threw at us!" Mikey explains.

"Or how about why he ran on us? That isn't like the Shredder to do something like that!" I add.

"The whole night was fishy, why did he even come out in the first place? To throw that stuff at us? But look at us, we're all fine," Leo says.

Leo does have a point. I don't think the thing even hit us! What did Shredder want to accomplish that night? I'm starting to think that we're over thinking all of this. Why are we questioning everything when we should be training? We clearly don't have a chance against the Shredder so why are we just sitting around doing nothing?

"C'mon guys, why don't we train. It's clear that we need it," I say.

Donnie and Mikey shake their heads yes as they both stand up. "I'll come watch," Leo explains.  The three of them follow me as we head into the dojo. "I call fighting Mikey first," I say.

I go into the middle of the dojo as Mikey comes and joins me. The two of us are face to face, ready to fight. We're however stopped by Leo. "No, I think we should do this differently today," he says.

"We?" I question him. Leo is injured, he's not fighting. "Not we, I mean you guys. The Shredder is at least as powerful as two of us, therefore I think it should be a two against one fight." Leo says.

Two against one? I'm up for that. "Sounds good, I'll be the one," I say. Donnie comes over into the middle of the room, standing next to Mikey.

We draw our weapons, and I'm the first to attack. I go for Donnie, swinging my left sai at him. Donnie blocks it with his bo staff, and from behind me comes a nunchuck swinging towards my head. I put my sai in the air to block it, getting the chain wrapped around my sai. With Mikey still holding onto it, I bring my sai over my head, causing the nunchuck and Mikey to go flying over onto the ground.

Donnie swings his staff at my legs, successfully hitting me. It caused me to loose balance for a minute however I didn't fall. I catch my balance then kick Donnie down to the ground.

Mikey gets back up and throws three ninja stars at me. While I'm busy blocking them, Mikey comes closer to me and punched me in the stomach. I grab it in pain, then go to throw a punch back at him, but I'm stopped. Donnie had got back up and now grabbed my arm, restraining me from punching Mikey. While holding my arm, Donnie throws me onto the ground.

As soon as I get back up, Mikey swings his nunchucks at me, at the same time Donnie swings his bo staff at me. I only stop the nunchucks, and the bo staff knocks me off my balance causing me to fall once again. I lie there for a minute, I'm down.

As you are aware, I'm a poor sport. I hate loosing to Leo, but loosing to Mikey or Donnie is worse. I don't care if they are teamed up, I still believe I should win a fight like that!

"Nice try Raph," Mikey says offering me his hand. "Whatever," I say ignoring his offer and getting up on my own. I don't bother to stay for the next fight, I walk straight out of the dojo without another word.

I make my way into my bedroom, I need to cool down. I try lying down in bed, but I need to do something productive. I walk out of my room, nobody is in sight. Everyone must still be training, and as for Splinter, he's most likely meditating. I make my way for to the surface, maybe I can find some footbots to beat up.

Before I'm able to exit the lair, something catches my attention. I step back, turning myself around to see my brother having a coughing fit. "You okay Donnie?" I ask. As soon as he finishes he responds. "Yeah, just need a glass of water, that's all."

I shrug it off, there's no more coughing so he must be good. With that, I make my way through the sewers and onto the surface.
