Raph's POV

Well, we were all dumb to think everything was okay. We were well aware that Shredder threw something at us, but never did we connect it back to why Donnie was coughing. In fact, once Donnie told us that it was just a cough, we believed him! It was a violent cough, but for some reason Donnie saying it was nothing was enough to make us believe that it truly was nothing.

None of the three of us, nor Splinter were suspicious of Donnie, until today. We knew that something was wrong when Donnie slept in later than Mikey did, believe me, that's hard to do. Leo went to check on Donnie, and after a few minutes of being in the room I went to check it out for myself.

I make my way past the kitchen into Donnie's room. There he is, lying down in bed as Leo is standing over in the left side of him. I'm about to speak, until I get a good look at Donnie. I don't believe my eyes at first, so I take a step closer and realize my eyes were seeing what they thought they were.

There's Donnie lays, pale as ever. This wouldn't be surprising ,once we are sick our skin does become pale. However, I've
never seen something like this. His green skin was nearly white, not to mention the fact that his eyes were swelling up.

"Donnie?" I ask in shock. "What's wrong?" I don't know what to say, never has anyone of us look so bad when we're sick. I don't possibly know what could've happened to him!

"The jar Shredder threw at us contained some kind of poison. It got exposed to Donnie," Leo explains to me.

I turn my head over to Leo shocked, but then face Donnie once more. "When did you find out about this?" I ask Donnie not pleased. He couldn't have been up today by the looks of things, so that would mean that he was aware of this and didn't tell us!

"Two, no," he starts saying in a weak tone. "Three days ago."

Three days ago? "Why would you wait three days to tell us?" I snap at him. That isn't a smart thing to do, look at him!

"Raph, I didn't think it was going to be this serious! Clearly I would've told you sooner if I were to have known," he explains.

"I didn't want to make you guys panic. Within these three days I was looking for a cure, and then once I found one I was going to tell you."

I hear a sigh come from Leo. I turn my attention over to his direction and he doesn't look too impressed either. "And since the only reason you told us today that you're sick is because you don't have the strength to get up, I think it's a fair assumption that you haven't found the cure. Is that correct?"

Donnie hesitates, there's something he isn't mentioning. "No, I did find the cure last night. You were all asleep and I thought I'd tell you all today anyways. I swear it wasn't this bad until today, yesterday I had some pains but I could still easily walk!"

He has knows the cure? Then that's perfect, we can make it for him! "So how do we make this cure for you?" I ask.

Once again, there is a hesitation. "What is it this time?" Leo asks. "It's never that easy."

Not that easy? What's that supposed to mean. "The reason I didn't make the cure is because I can't! This poison is a very dangerous one, not something you'd see everyday too. Because of this one ingredient in this poison, a rare flower is required to be put in the antidote. One that is only located in Australia." he explains.

My eyes widen at his comment, and I can hear Leo gasp. How can this be? My brother knows how to make the cure, but we don't have access to a dumb flower? His life is depending on a flower?
