"I can't believe you slapped her" i say still in shock of the incident that happened.
"I can't believe i filmed it all" she says looking over at the footage she filmed. I looked over at the footage over her shoulder, a wide grin spread over her face.
"we gonna get hella views on this" she says with a shake of her head. i never got what her obsession with youtube was, granted i only go there for the drama.
"correction, you i refuse to be part of this. you physically slapped a girl in the middle of bloody lego land!" i say my voice tethering at the end.
"yeah but the girl got what she deserved."
"true, but she could still sue"
"the girl has an iq of a squirrel, she's not going to sue" the roll of her eyes makes me sigh.
"thats a insult to squirrels" i say with a fake gasp.
"well sorry"
"to be honest she belongs in team 10" i mutter looking down.
"once again that sounds like an insult"
"you can't insult team 10, its physically impossible"
"no shit" i say as i hop into my car, we wave goodbye to each other.
i hear the familiar, roar of the motorway under my tires. Growing up near the city i've always loved the hustle and bustle of the city, the way everyone always in a hurry.
i pull up outside my parents house, i always came over on a Tuesday, its been my tradition since i moved out.
the terrace house, the place i called home for eighteen years. my family believes in children moving out at age 18.
they didn't necessarily kick me out, they just had new locks fitted.
i knock on the door, my little sister answering the door.
"hey fern" she says opening it wider to let me in. the normal commotion of my family home pulsing through me.
"hey Lucy" i say with a goofy grin, she's turning eighteen in a few weeks. i told her she could move in with me.
i shimmy past her, looking at all my siblings siting round the table, it still baffles me how they all fit round that small table, let alone live in a 3 bedroom house.
i feel tugging on my ankle, looking down i see my youngest sibling Misty yanking on my leg. she was a little bit of sunshine in a dark world. she's only four but i know for a fact she's going to make someone very happy in life.
i scoop her into my arms and place her into the high chair, i sit between 2 of my siblings. we all look towards mum and dad who are sat at the front of the table.
i look over to the chair my older sister normally occupies, being the second oldest of ten siblings has it struggles, even more when the oldest, my sister fails to turn up every week.
the screaming starts instantly once mums done with her normal speech.
food flies across the table, i look to my fourteen year old brother sat next to me as he grabs one of our younger siblings.
i silently tell Lucy to do the same, i stare over at my sixteen yearly brother to see him engrossed into his phone, completely blocking off the world.
the room seems to quite down as i look at the smaller refection of myself, everyone said we look the most alike.
suddenly the room comes to a halt, mum had started to clean up the plates. she always did that as a way to shut everyone up, once your plate was gone you couldn't get it back.
she always started wth dad and made her way by the window and into the kitchen behind her seat.
we all smiled thanking her for the food as she took our plates.
