Ok i scraped the ever 50 reads because we reach them so quickly, thank you so much for 400 reads, it genuinely blows my mind.•-Fern-•
legoland was odd quite, granted it was chucking buckets down. i was huddled in our small shelter with Chrissy and mabel. Jax had to go to some family reunion, leaving her following us around like a lost puppy. genuinely surprised that their not dating.
Chrissy talks about the new diet she's trying, mabel listens with a look in her eyes that says she doesn't care about the 'vegan life' Chrissy's preaching to us.
i absently pick at my chipped nail polish, red was so not my colour.
i hear the stagger of high heels, who the hell wears high heels to lego land.
all of our heads whip to the cheery girl with the mulberry lip.
she bounces over to just, almost theatrically, looking effortlessly stunning.
she smiles widely when sees us looking at her.
"well hello there ladies"
"uhm hi?" i say with an awkward wave, she grins and pulls Chrissy into a tight hug. she eventually releases her and reaches into her bag.
"i made you a cake" she says handing it to Chrissy.
"if you made it why is it all wrapped up in plastic?" Mabel says with a shy smile.
"well i just-" she rubs the back of her neck "presentation is key"
"why did you make her a cake" i ask suddenly wanting to understand her trail of thought.
"oh to say thank you" she says like its the most normal thing in her life.
"is this a rich people thing"
"uhh i'm not sure, my mother raised me to always give a cake of gratitude." she says with a sweet smile. my phone pings in my back pocket and i notice a text from Mabel
Mabel: do you think she's poisoned the cake?
i roll my eyes and shake my head at her.
For some reason the girl, we later found out was named jasmine, decided she was going to spend the day with us.
The longer we spoke the more it felt like we'd known her forever. She told us about square head, who she said was called Will, to be honest I still personally prefer Lego brick to Will.
Eventually Mabel's boyfriend called demanding for her to come home, Chrissy said she had to go help her grandmother do her shopping.
As conversion draws to a close, we both decided to head off home.
As I'm driving to my flat I decide to visit my family home, to grab a sibling to keep me company for the night.
I let myself in to find the house empty, they must have gone to family bingo night. As I look round the empty house I see one pair of shoes left, Kyle's.
I run up to the room he shares with our 14 year old brother.
I lurk in the door way as I see the 16 year old boy engrossed in a game, he had his head set on, as he talked into a mic set up on his desk.
He seemed so educated on the topic he was talking about, the grin on his face was bigger than I'd ever seen.
For once he seemed happy, he always said he was more at peace alone, I never believed it.
Looking at him now it was undeniably the truth.
Turning around to leave and head home, I trip over one of the piles of cloths that they left on the floor.
Instantly his reflexes kick in and he swings himself out of his chair, the moment he sees me his scared expression disappears replaced with something much scarier, anger.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM!" He yells.
To say I ran would be an understatement, I legged it.
A.N- I'll add a song later I'm in the car, and my phones about to die send help.
But tyyyyy so much for 455 reads 💞💞
