We never even wanted to
The rain was scaring the floor with so much tragedy
The beauty in that darkness was the endless madness to this gravity
Your feet making puddles
Me lying in the ground
Just sleeping letting the rain touch me.
You turned away in utter shame and dismay
Why haven't you spoken to me?!
Just muttering the same words
"Where are you?"
I'm staring in shock
I'm right here!
At the end of the day you whispered
"I lost her."
And you walked away from the raining day leaving me still sleeping watching the rain making me damp.

If you looked closely at where your were at
And what you were sitting on....
Oh you wouldn't have lost me, my dear.
You would've found me
