I wanted to learn to love daffodils
But maybe that type of love couldn't exist
I watered the wilted plant, then it kills
A beautiful life I took with a kiss
Sometimes I wonder why it had happened
Just the other day we were only kids
Fast forward to today I imagined
A life full of peace and joy I undid
Maybe if I could just go back to the start
No, please change that maybe into regret
Regret that will make me fall apart
Until I wake up in a cold sweat
And then maybe I will envision a life
Where love can be without pain and strife
