"What's wrong Sulpicia?" Athenodora asks her best friend/ sister in law. They had been returned to the tower since the Cullen incident. But Sulpicia could not stop thinking about the two half breeds. Though she can't have a child herself, Aro could and they could raise it from a baby. Be a proper family.
"I want a child" Sulpicia tells her friend.
"Well that's not possible" Athenodora tells her.
"It is though, we've seen that male vampires can procreate" Sulpicia reminds her.
"But us women can't, I don't know why you'd want a child" Athenodora grumbles. "Besides you and Aro raised Jane & Alec before they were turned" she states.
"Yes but they see Aro as a master and me his wife, not as their parents" Sulpicia states. "I am seeing Aro tonight and I plan to speak to him about it. I have thought a lot about this in the last three years and I want to try it. I don't care if the human mother dies, I'll finally have a child to call my own" she says smiling.
"Well I never wanted to be a mother, but I know you've always had a soft spot for children. So I won't try to talk you out of it and good luck with Aro" Athenodora tells her. Just then Aro and Caius arrived to take their wives out of the tower for the night. Athenodora left with Caius, but Sulpicia did not move from her seat.
"What is wrong my darling wife?" Aro asks kneeling before her.
"Aro do you remember Bella, Edward and Renesmee?" she asks.
"Of course I do il mio amore, why do you ask?" he says stroking her hair gently.
"I want that Aro, I want what they have a true family" she tells him.
"But il mio amore you cannot carry a child" Aro tells her gently.
"But you can father one and the mother will die during child birth unless she is turned. Which we wouldn't do and we'd have a hybrid child of our own. To raise, care and nature" she tells him.
"Is this what you really want?" Aro asks her looking into her red eyes with his own.
"Yes, I want to have a baby with you Aro" she tells him smiling.
"Then we shall do it, first we will pick only the best woman to be the mother. One that is beautiful like you and won't be missed when she dies. We'll bring her here where I'll have sex with her and impregnate her. Then keep her here until she gives birth then depose of her body with honour. After all she will be giving birth to our prince or princess" Aro explains.
"I love you Aro" Sulpicia says wrapping her arms around him.
"I love you too Sulpicia" Aro says before kissing her passionately.
(Somewhere in Alaska)
Alice drops a vase and it shatters on the floor drawing everyones attention to her. "What is it Alice?" Jasper asks her. As their family and cousins gather around them.
"Aro is going to father a child" Alice tells them.
"Why?" Bella asks her confused.
"Sulpicia, Aro's wife wants a child to call their own to have a family like ours" Edward says holding Esme and Bella close. He had seen Alice's vision.
"Exactly, but he'll only do it once and he plans to let the mother of the child die" Alice states.
"There is nothing we can do, it is his family and coven" Carlisle tells everyone. "Besides this does not affect us, right Alice and Edward?" he asks.
"No, but Aro may write to you for information on how to keep the unborn baby and mother healthy before the birth. Also some questions about growth and powers" Alice states. The family return to want they were doing before while Alice cleaned up the broken glass.
(One week later: Volterra)
"What do you think my dear?" Aro asks Sulpicia as they look at thirty-four year old brunette.
"Katerina Moretti orphaned at the age of four has no living family or close friends. Is in the process of becoming a model. But is not well known in Italy and is on holiday. I think she's perfect Aro, but are you ok with her?" Sulpicia asks him. "After all you will be have sex with her" she reminds him.
"She is beautiful enough to get me going, but she does not hold a candle to you beauty my love" Aro states. "I will have Felix and Demetri collect her tonight. Soon we will have a child of our own" he assures Sulpicia.
