No one's POV

"No kill Alec" Alvara says as Alec holds her after Felix and Demetri let go of his arms.

"Alvara go to your mother, leave" he tells her gently.

"No!" she shouts standing up. "Me no leave until I know Alec is safe" she states.

"Aro" Marcus calls holding his hand out. Aro runs over and grabs his hand. He looks at Alvara and Alec after seeing what Marcus showed him.

"Alvara I give you my word no harm will come to Alec" he tells her.

"Promise?" Alvara asks with her big blue eyes.

"Have I ever gone back on my word?" Aro asks her and she runs to him.

"Thank you Daddy, I love you" Alvara tells him.

"I love you too, now return to your room with your mother" Aro orders gently.  Alvara hugs Alec pecking his cheek before leaving the room with her mother. The doors shut behind them along with Athenodora and Heidi. "I wish to speak to Alec in private" Aro tells everyone and they leave.

"Master I swear, I would never do anything without your consent" Alec says not getting up from the ground.

"How long have you known?" Aro asks Alec.

"Since I first held her as a child, her blood attracted me so much. That's why I never guarded her in fear of hurting her. But when I saw how upset she was that no one was playing with her. I thought I could let her have one night to feel like a child" Alec explains.

"I nearly made a dreadful mistake tonight Alec" Aro states sitting on his throne.

"Master?" Alec says confused.

"Killing you would of been a huge mistake, I know now no one else would be a better protector for Alvara then you. But I forbid you from dating her until she is fully matured" Aro tells him.

"I understand my master, I am sorry for keeping this a secret" Alec says.

"Of course you still need to be punished for disobeying my orders" Aro states. "No blood for the rest of the month or going out for two months. Also you are never to be alone with my daughter" he states.

"Seems reasonable master, can I train?" Alec asks.

"Yes, go do so now" Aro orders and Alec leaves the room. Aro gives to Alvara's to see her asleep beside Sulpicia. "How is she?" he asks.

"Tired, she's had a long night" Sulpicia answers. "What did Marcus show you?" she asks as she strokes Alvara's dark brown hair.

"Our daughter has a mate" Aro states sitting on Alvara's other side.

"She's to young for a mate" Sulpicia states.

"I agree, which is why I told Alec he can't be with her until she reaches full maturity. But at least she has someone other then us that would do anything to protect her. That is why he avoided her" Aro explains.

"Her blood" Sulpicia says and Aro nods his head.

"He's being punished, but Alvara saved his life tonight" Aro says smiling at his daughter.

"I'm glad, I know you did not want to kill him" Sulpicia says smiling. "One day he'll be our son in law" she adds.

"Not for a long time if I have a say in the matter" Aro states and she chuckles. "She's growing up fast" he says smiling.

"Maybe a little to fast" Sulpicia states. "Alec was right she needs to feel like a normal child and play every once in a while. These are precious memories to people, their child hood. All she does is study, train and read. A child needs to have fun in their life" she tells him.

"Ok, we'll make sure she has more fun and playtime" Aro assures her. They then leave their daughter to sleep. Demetri and Heidi were guarding her now.
