Rose stood in between Cisco and Caitlin, who like her, were carefully watching the man Barry had brought to the lab. She wanted to book an optometrist's appointment because she could not, did not, want to believe who she was seeing flipping through the biography that Barry still had for some reason.

The guy closed the book. "Very strange to be holding your autobiography, especially when you didn't write it and it's not about you."

"Dr. Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Rose Parker meet Dr. Harrison Wells from Earth-2." Barry introduced the man. She took a moment to take in his appearance. Unlike their Wells, Eobard, whatever they were going to call him now, this man carried a large gun. His unruly dark hair matched the equally dark clothes that looked quite hipster from where she was standing. What she really couldn't get over was that this man was the real Harrison Wells. That and the skinny jeans.

After a beat, Cisco greeted with a rather serious, "Hi."

"Hi," the Earth-2 Wells parroted.

"So let me get this straight," said Cisco. "You're the doppelganger of the man who murdered his mom and is responsible for both Ronnie and Eddie's deaths?"

"Yeah, but he's not even the doppelganger of the Dr. Wells that we knew because that Dr. Wells' body had been taken over by the Reverse Flash, who was really Eobard Thawne and Eddie's distant relative from the future." Caitlin reminded him.

After a beat, the man to let the information sink in, or at least hear it, as he told them, "Yeah, I didn't follow any of that. I'm my own man. I had nothing to do with the murder of your mother or your friend Ricky."

"His name was Ronnie," Caitlin scolded.

"Him either."

"You told me you have proof of your identity?" Barry asked him, remaining a little calm for Rose's taste. When she had come to the lab only ten minutes earlier, Barry had stopped her just as she had walked in the door and gave her the Cliff Notes version of what happened last night when she was gone with John. It was still taking a lot of her not to pin this man to a wall or throw him in a cell like they did Jay. What really confused her was his reaction. When she had walked in, this new Wells looked as if he had seen a ghost.

"This almost hit me when I went through the portal," Wells answered him. He walked over to a desk and picked up the equipment that Stein had thrown into the portal to test it. He passed it off to Caitlin as he continued. "Your stabilized breach downstairs connects directly to the S.T.A.R. Labs on my Earth."

Caitlin nodded. "Technically, this could be mine, but I want to run some tests on you."

"I'll be genetically indistinguishable from my Earth-1 counterpart. Your tests will reveal nothing."

"Great! Still gonna run 'em," Caitlin told him.

Rose and Cisco moved from their spot by the door towards Barry. She leaned in by his ear. "I leave for one night to put a soul back into someone's body and this happens. I need to stop leaving you people."

Cisco added, "Why are we even listening to him? How do we know he's not evil like the other guy?"

"He saved my life last night," Barry replied.

"So did the other guy," Rose reminded him. "Multiple times. The question is, why is this guy saving your life? I can take care of him now. It's not a problem."

Barry's head went back a bit in shock, surprised at the words coming out of her mouth before turning back towards the Earth-2 Wells. "I'm guessing you didn't travel between dimensions just to meet The Flash."
