"You have a phone?" Alex asked as they walked. They had been walking for a while now. Not yet ready to go into the base until she had checked them over.
"Ya everyone has one," Eli glanced around like asking made him uncomfortable.
"Pass." She put put her hand, motioning to give her the phone, looking at Trixie too.
"Why? I got mine just a couple days ago from-""Your family? the one mad at you for ditching? Right. Now pass the tracker" She interrupted Eli still holding out her hand.
"Shit! You're right," He turned to a confused looking Trixie, "Means floppers. Did Butch leave anything for you with the clothes?" Eli started to look though the bag on her back as she said there was a thing that looked like something that someone named Tad had. Eli pulled out the phone and gave both of them to Alex. She handed them to the ShadowClan, who disappeared swiftly.
They had walked a few more blocks before they got to the base's building. It was a large Office building that belonged to the Creed family company and the base was under hidden in one of the basement storage rooms. She blindfolded the two before leading them down into the room.
--------------------------------------------------------
"Wow" Eli said as he took off the blindfold. The 'Base' was cool it was totally decked out in high tech gear, such as a supercomputer and a specialized slug house. It also had a wall filled with different blasters of all types, some were even disguised for use in the city of other populated areas. He walked around to look at all the gear. "Is that a double barrel?"
"I thought Eli was the only one who could do that," Trixie said unfreezing from the initial shock of the room.
"Wait you can double barrel? No one has been able to do that since my Great-great grandfather!" Alex looked at Eli in awe which made him feel weird since the girl who was just pointing her blaster at him was now looking at him like he was the next Michael Jackson. It scared him a little.
"Yes I can along with some other things but that's not important. We need to talk about the problem at hand, who is ghouling the slugs and how do we make it stop?" Eli moved into the seating area and sat down in one of the couch es that ringed a big table that had a glass all except on the first 3" of the edge and the middle area. The other two followed him over to the table and took their seats.
"It's been happening for the past two years. It started with a few here and there, but them in the past 6 months it has been getting worse and worse." Alex said twiddling with the strings that came down from the hood on her jacket.
"Okay, but do you know who's doing this, where it's happening? Any other details. The more we know the faster we can fix this." Trixie looked over at Alex as she pulled out a notepad ready for the information on what they needed to do.
Alex started to type on a keypad in front of her, "We know that the corrupting is happening in a base under the Rogers Center but the area is protected by Good Times Inc." She brought up images on the glass screens in the table. It showed the Rogers Center with large rooms under the stadium and a logo of a popular Toy company that has a large political power, even in the states.
"That's good to know we can then start on a plan to break in, and where we can stop the supply of Dark Water." Eli was scrolling through the other files on the ghouling in the database they had when a door at the side of the room opened.
"Alex, Ren is back!" a guy in his 20's came in followed by the ShadowClan from before. Walking in he saw the two guests at the table and hurriedly pushed a button.
Red lights and an alarm started and the table on the computer turned blank. The chairs instantly produced roller coaster bars around Trixie, Alex and Eli.
"Jesse! Shut that off they're with me!" Alex was shouting over the alarm and typing furiously into the keypad in front of her. The system turned off and the bars moved back into the back of the chairs. "Can you not just push the emergency without reading the mood. Seriously Bro."
"Well, you can't just bring random strangers down here. Especially a boy of all things. What would dad say?" Jesse seemed mad at the sudden appearance of Eli and Trixie.
"So this is your brother? How many slingers do you have? The more the better." Eli was grinning as he made plans on how they could take down this new enemy.
"Who's Ren?" Trixie was looking as the ShadowClan.
"Ren is the ShadowClan," Alex said pointing at Ren, "And Jesse meet Eli and Trixie, they're protectors just like us."
"And why should we trust them?-" Jesse looked over the two warily.
"Because-"
"I brought the Son of Shane. He will prove helpful in purifying the corrupted or ghouled slugs as he speaks of them," Ren cut off Alex standing between the two siblings.
"Ghouled?" Jesse looked at Eli.
"Ya, that's what we call them back at home. But don't let them, ghoul, you, that sucks." Eli looked down as he remembered the feel of the Ghoul that still lingered in the back of his mind.
"Eli you don't need to-" Trixie moved beside him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Ya, I do. They're dangerous and especially the people who use them." Eli moved towards Alex's brother, "Hi, I'm Eli Shane. We're here to help you fix up the slugs."
A/N I have been summoned to update!
Glad to see the increased attention for this, I know there aren't a lot of Sugterra fanfic people but getting to interact with you all is great.
Now any suggestions on what kind villain I should make would be great (I'm thinking someone working with the Goon Doc like with Black but I'm not the best at the personality thing).
Shout out to @Hydroxa for the request of this chapter!
Love you all! -Ghost
