what is fear?

fear is the knocking

kneading

constant feeling

fear is the falling

losing

klutzy bruising

fear is coming home

everyday to an empty plate

full

of food made of air and cigarette butts

fear is wondering you're gonna be hit by them

or if you're going to relapse into self harm

and the worst fear of all

is fear

itself
