It has been about a month since Jayden's appearance. They both talked normally. Jayden would walk around the halls just looking if anything was out of place. Just because he couldnt touch anything didnt mean that he couldnt move them. He would use his ghost "powers".

Anna was about to head out until...

"Where are you going?"

It was Jayden. He has been like a older brother to her. He would clean around the house (remember ghost powers), organize things, and feed the dog (leave a comment for the name). Anna was fine with it and actually happy that she had someone else to talk to.

Anna's POV
I stopped at the door and looked back. Jayden was looking at me with his arms crossed.

"I'm going to the library. Why do you want to come?" I said confused.

He sighed.

"Just dont be late for lunch. And no because your dog feels lonely." He turned and walked away.

"Alright. See you when I come back!" I walked out.

It was cute when he was overprotective. I walked and noticed that the sky was pretty today.

I arrived at the library. The room was filled with the smell of books and the usual as always. The librarian stamping books, people in line for the vending machine, some studying, others just on the computer. I grabbed a book and sat on one of the seats. It was quiet. Peaceful. The way I liked it. I continued to read.

Its not going to last long. It never does. That voice again. It was getting annoying. I pressed on the scar on my stomach. The voice was gone. I continued to read.

30 minutes passed, I decided it was a good time to go home.

On the way I saw the usual. The bakery to the left of me, kids throwing coins in the fountain, people walking their dogs, and me walking home.

I arrived and saw Jayden sitting on the couch. He looked up at me.

"Welcome back." He said

I smiled "What was going on when i was out?"

"Nothing much except me cleaning." He said

He got up and went to the kitchen. I followed. I saw there was take out.

"How did yo-?" I was cut off by him.

"Just because I cant hold things doesnt mean I cant move them. Haven't you seen horror movies?" He said leaning on the wall.

"Ah, I forgot. Sorry"

"Its fine. Your still kinda new to the ghost stuff"

I sat down and ate. He then began to talk.

"Hey you need to get a job. I cant just go out getting food for you. Which is called STEALING!" Jayden reminded me.

"Heheh"

Shit hes right. I thought to myself.

After I finished, I showered.

When I got out I layed on my bed. Its been a month that I have been living with a ghost. It sounded scary if you looked at it in another way. But it was actually fun. Jayden helped me through. He listens to me. Im glad I have him.

I smiled.

Everything was quiet. Until Jayden scared the crap out of me. I still wasnt use to having another person there.

"What are you smiling at? Go to sleep, You have classes tomorrow" he sat at my desk.

"S-sorry. Goodnight!" I said and closed my eyes.

I didnt notice but Jayden blushed just a bit.

"Yeah, goodnight"

A new beginning...to this life.
