"She never said where to sit at" Jayden said.

The three put two fingers on the piece, "Are there any spirits here?" Karen asked. They waited for a response, but only silence filled the room with no movement on the board. Karen looked displeased and asked again, "Are there any spirits that want to speak to us?" There was still no movement.

"What the shit dude! Are you sure there was a ghost here?" Anna looked at her nervously. "I guess I was high off crack?" She shrugged. "Or maybe we need to piss it off?" Ben spoke up. "Spirit do you wanna talk to us or do you wanna be a pussy?" The two girls looked at him with a panicked look. "What the hell are you doing smart ass?!" Karen yelled.

A small wind blew on them, making the candles flame flicker. "Whoah did you guys feel that?" Karen looked around. Anna looked around too and saw a figure. Jayden sat next to them and smiled. He saw Anna staring at him and shushed her. Fucking hell Jayden! Anna screamed in her mind.

"My plan worked" Ben smirked. "Do you want to talk to us?" Karen waited for an answer. Jayden shrugged and moved the piece to the word "yes". "What's your name?" Jayden smiled and moved the pieces to the word "yes" again. Ben and Karen gasped and said loudly "What the fuck?!"

Anna rubbed her temples and gave a tired sigh, "Can we be serious?". The two nodded and asked again, "What is your real name?" The piece moved across the letters J, A, Y, D, E, and N. "Jayden?" Karen asked out loud.

"I think we should stop now before it gets way too out of hand" Anna recommends. If they keep going, Jayden can say anything that can expose her. Karen looked at her disappointedly, "We just found a ghost Ann', we cant stop now. Lets ask questions, live a little" Anna sighed and nodded in agreement.

"Do you live here?" The piece moved to the word 'yes'. "Did you die here?" The piece moved to 'no'. The three looked confused, "Uh, did you die somewhere else?" The piece moved to 'no' again. "Do you know how you died?" Once again, 'no'. Everyone looked hurt, especially Anna.

"Anna what do you wanna ask?" Karen looked at her. This was her chance to know a bit more about Jayden. But what would she ask? She sat pondering about what to ask. "Do you plan on hurting me?" The piece moved to 'no'.  Anna smiled but the thought came in of Jayden hurting her. Is he just lying? Maybe this is all a set up of his. She ignored the alternate truth and looked over to Ben.

"Do you feel attached to any of us?" The piece moved to the letters M, A, Y, B, and then E. Ben seemed confused with this answer but said no more. "Is there anything else we should ask?" He asked. Everyone shook their heads no except Ben. "Well i think we should provoke him. I didnt just want to have a small chat"

"I dont think we should do that. Remember Anna lives here, something can happen to her" Karen said.

"I guess we have to see" Ben began to provoke Jayden "I think i have an idea about your death. You probably just did some dumbass shit like poke an outlet with a fork. Is that right?"

Jayden looked disappointed that Ben wasnt really provoking him as much. "I guess i should play along" He dropped a nearby cup that was one the coffee table. Everyone went silent. "Is that it your pretty weak. You said you didnt want to hurt anybody, but how could you if you arent even willing to break the cup"

The candles went out. It was now dark. "Light the candles back!" Karen screamed. Anna tried to light them back but didnt work. What is Jayden doing? I need to talk to him. She stood up "I think i have a flashlight in my room ill be right back" Karen held onto Annas arm and pleaded "No Anna you might get hurt!" Anna smiled. "Ill be fine" she wlaked to her room waiting for Jayden.

"I didnt expect them to be scared that easily" Jayden laughed. "What the hell are you doing?! I told you to stay out of it!" Anna blew up. Jayden was taken back but began to feel angry. "And why is that Anna? Why?"

"You are a ghost they would freak out obviously!"

"And what if they dont?"

"Im sure they would freak out. I mean look what you just did! Karen held onto me shaking. Begging me to stay. You traumatized her!"

"Well this wouldnt have happened if you would had just let me talk to them from the beginning. If only you said the truth!"

"Why do you even care about them meeting you?!"

"Have you ever thought that I wanted a group of friends?"

Anna was shocked to hear this. She never thought of Jayden being sensitive about a thing like this.

Jayden walked out of the room and headed to the living room, with Anna behind "Wait Jayden!"

Jayden walked into the living room and lit back the candles. He stood by but weirdly Karen looked at his direction. Was he by Anna? Ben looked at the same direction and his eyes widened. "Is that.." Karen mumbled.

Jayden panicked, "What are you looking at?" Anna asked. "That- That's...."

"Thats Jayden. The ghost we talekd to" Ben finished the sentence. Jayden smiled and waved.

"Uh hey, nice to meet you"
