Chapter 11

The maid greeted me as I entered Saurie's mansion. She lead me to the study room. I saw Flay, Yui, Kent, and Auel sitting on the floor in yoga style. Nakapalibot sila sa isang mababa pero malapad na table. Flay grinned when she saw me while Yui greeted me. Auel just nodded and Kent winked. I smiled and mimicked their position. Naupo ako sa pagitan nina Flay at Auel.

"Where's Sau?"

"She's on the phone." Yui replied.

I nodded and scanned the room admiring her paintings. Sau really has gifted hands. Wala nga pala ang parents niya ngayon. Sabi niya nasa business trip daw.

Minutes passed. We're already discussed few topics. Hindi pa din bumabalik si Sau.

Magaling si Flay sa History at Home Economics. Andyan si Yui pagdating sa Science stuff. Auel is good on essays. Si Kent naman, he proudly said na magaling daw siya sa basketball. Is that counted? Ang sabi niya kailangan daw niya talagang mag-aral ngayon dahil mainit na daw siya sa mata ng parents niya. Mas gusto daw niyang sumama sa group study kaysa magpaturo sa 'boring' daw niyang tutor. Yui instantly beat his head using her hand in karate style.

"Hey!" Kent scowled holding his head.

"Rude." She added without even looking at him. It seems that her eyes glued to the book she's reading.

Flay and I laughed. We continued studying while Kent seems uninterested and decided to share his jokes earning few karate chopped on head from Yui. Tawa lang kami ng tawa ni Flay. Auel always kept his poker face.

After a while, Sau entered the room.

"Dumating ka din! Alam mo bang muntik ng maubos ang jokes ko sa kanila?" -Kent

"You and you're terrible jokes." Yui commented and finally decided to unglued her eyes from her book.

"Now who's being rude here?" Kent cried.

"You're late." Yui pointed Sau.

"Sorry Yui." She pouted. "May makulit lang kasi na tawag ng tawag sa akin. Pwede ka ng pumasok."

"Kai!" Flay exclaimed. Kai? Are they close?

"Oh hi there Flay. Hi everyone." He smiled.  He's wearing a black bonet, eyeglasses, T-shirt printed with big eyeglasses. Like why the sudden nerdy looks eh?

He looked at me. "Hi honey! So how's my new look?"

"Honey?" They said in chorus.

"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes.

He scooted between Kent and mine. "Mind to move a little?" Kent snorted.

"Hindi ko alam na interesado ka pala sa group study."

"Yan din ang naisip ko nung makita kita dito bro." He smirked.

Flay nudged me. "Care to explain?" She whispered. I wrinkled my nose.

The group study went well. Nalaman ko na close pala talaga sina Kaiden at Flay. 

12am, we decided to have a movie marathon. Nagtagal pa kami sa pamimili kung romance ba or action ang papanoorin. Romance sa side ng girls while action sa boys. Sau being fair decided to play horror movies. The Walking Dead.

Yui, Sau, and Kent sat on the floor. Auel sat on a single couch while me and Kaiden sat on a long couch. As movies go on, kain lang ng kain si Kaiden. Ang takaw niya. Mas bagay sa kanya ang pangalang Kain. Bakit ba dinagdagan pa nila yun ng 'de' . Sayang.

"You're eating like a pig."

"That's why we belong to each other. Pig couple. Hey it sounds awesome! Very extraordinary." He nodded to himself and grinned.

"YUCK!!" I shouted.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Wala pa ngang nakakain, yuck agad? So advanced." Auel spoke referring to the movie.

"Auel spoken for the first time!" I shouted.

"Shhhhhhhhh." This time, si Yui at Kent naman ang sumaway sa akin. Auel glared at me.

"Good morning honey."

I opened my eyes and saw Kaiden grinning. His face is so close that I can feel his breathing. I instantly pushed him from the couch.

"Ouch! What the hell?!" He touched his back hurted from unexpected landing on the floor.

"Oooops. Sorry." I made a peace sign with my fingers. "Where are they?"

"Nasa dinning room na. Now get up cause I'm hungry." Hinintay niya pa talaga ako?

"Can I use bathroom first?" He groaned.
