*Italics - the nightmare*
Jonah Marais:
You snuck backstage to see Jonah after his successful concert. But then, you saw him exchanging saliva with another girl! "J-Jonah?" you asked, voice wavering. He pulled away to face you and had the audacity to smirk! You mouth hung open.
"Hey Cutie, what're you doing?" he asked nonchalantly.
"How could you!" you screamed. "I'm your girlfriend and you go and suck another girl's face off! I thought we had something!" A stray tear streamed down you cheek as your heart cracked, little by little. He let go of the girl and walked up to you.
"You didn't... you didn't think I actually liked you... did you?" he smiled cruelly. "I mean, you of all people. She's so confident and... you get insecure." You hated how casual he sounded. It broke your heart completely.
"I thought you cared about me," more tears streamed down your cheeks.
"Hm... yeah, that's your mistake and not my fault," Jonah shrugged, turning back to the girl and reattaching his lips on hers. Lips that once said he cared about you. How naive were you to think that he cared. You turned on your heel, walking away from the male you once called the light of your life.
"Y/N! Y/N, wake up!" a voice pulled you to reality. Your eyes flew open as you sat up. You stared up into the worried eyes of Jonah. You backed up away from him. He frowned turning on the lights. You wiped your eyes and your cheeks, pulling your knees to your chest. Images from the vivid nightmare flashed in your head. The bed dipped next to you as arms encased you. "Hey Cutie, tell me what's wrong. Tell me what happened. I'll make it disappear," he murmured, his breath warm against your ear. You lifted your head and retold your nightmare, watching Jonah's expression change from worry to horror.
"It-it felt so-so real," you sobbed.
"Y/N, it was just a nightmare, it's not real. I'd never be unfaithful to you, I swear to you," he vowed. "I love you and just you." You clung to his shirt, sobbing your heart out. "Sh," he soothed as he rubbed your back. "I'm never leaving you. Even if you don't want me, I wouldn't leave you. You're my equivalent of oxygen, I need you to live."
"Do you mean it?" you meekly questioned.
"Of course, I do," he smiled down at you. You settled back down, falling asleep in his arms, no more nightmares plaguing you.
Daniel Seavey:
You were waiting for Daniel and the other boys to come back, but they seemed to be running late. You checked your phone to see if Daniel had updated you on his whereabouts. Bored and worried, you turned on the news, learning about a plane crash, when it dawned on you. Flight 364, the plane that crashed was Daniel's plane. "There seemed to be some complications with the engine mid flight, resulting into an explosion that left no survivors. This was the plane the growing boy band Why Don't We was on. This is truly a tragic end of their career," the reporter said. "We honor the five boys, along with the other victims, our hearts go out to their loved ones." You didn't realize you had started crying. You felt yourself fall to the ground in tears. Your lover and you four other best friends were gone for good and you were once again by yourself.
"NO!" you wailed. You screamed and cried, the pain becoming unbearable with every passing second. No one was left to comfort you, no one was left to make you smile, no one was left to ease your pain.
You jolted awake to someone urgently shaking your shoulder. You cracked an eye open to see the panicked blue eyes of Daniel as he sat next to you. "Beautiful are you okay? You were crying really hard and sweating, I didn't know what to do," he breathed, pulling you into a tight hug. "What happened?"
