Jonah Marais:
About his loneliness.
You knew what you were getting into when you and Jonah started dating. Busy days, late nights, early mornings, long tours, all of it. But you loved him more and more each passing day. Which is why you weren't surprised to see his name pop up on your phone screen for what might have been the thousandth time since he left on tour. You picked up his face time call with a goofy grin on your face. You frowned when you saw his sad eyes. "What's wrong JoJo Bear?" you asked. He looked away and mumbled something, causing you to smile a bit. "Please repeat."
"I miss you," he whined. You chuckled a little bit.
"I miss you too, but in just a week, you'll be home with me and we'll catch up on everything, cuddles, movie marathons, kisses, hugs, all of it, I promise," you grinned, trying to cheer him up.
"That's so long!" he whined more. You chuckled at his behavior.
"Bear, you're gonna make a lot of girls smile. You make girls happy and they're counting on you to bring them happiness. I know, it's tiring and stressful at times, but think about all the smiles you've put on girls' faces," you encouraged. "I'll be here waiting when you come back, because as much as I miss you, I know you're out doing what you were meant to," you stated.
"Do you think you could catch the last show?" he asked.
"No sorry, I have playoffs and you know that's a can't miss," you frowned. "C'mon Jonah, I promise I'll text you every time I can and I'll try to pick up your phone calls, now get off your phone and go kick so ass!" He smiled, secure that you'd still be home waiting for him.
"Love you Cutie Pie, I gotta zayne, talk to you later?" he smiled.
"Have fun!" you grinned as he ended the face time.
Daniel Seavey:
About his stress.
You waited in the doorway, watching Daniel furiously scratch out lyrics at five in the morning. You let out a soft sigh, before shaking your head and leaving the room. Daniel had been working nonstop even though the boys clearly said they'd all work on it tomorrow. After all, five well rested brains work better than one stressed brain. You went to the kitchen and brought up a bowl of watermelon, hoping it would be tempting enough to pull him out of his work. "Danny, you gotta eat something," you murmured.
"I'll eat in the morning, Beautiful, what're you doing up?" he asked, not looking at you.
"I could as you the same thing."
"I have to finish this," he said determinedly.
"At what cost? Your health?"
"I'm fine, don't be such a worry wart," he smiled a bit.
"Don't tell me not to worry while you work the night away!"
"Oh so when you do it, it's fine, you don't have to listen to me when I tell you to sleep, but then when I work at night you get all up in my business! You don't understand, this career isn't easy. Sometimes you're just gonna have to power through the nights to finish something, but it's not like you wouldn't understand," he scoffed, erasing something.
"Oh yeah, I just didn't get through four years of college while maintaining a life guard job and a side job running a swim team," you scoffed with sarcasm dripping off every word. Daniel looked at you, knowing he fucked up.
"I'm sorry, I'm just stressed-is that watermelon?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.
"Yeah, but you're too busy to eat so I guess I'll go put it away," you rolled your eyes.
