Tyler's POV

I slept for about four maybe five hours until I got woken up from my phone ringing, it was Josh's mom

"Hello?"

"Tyler honey, Josh"

My heart instantly dropped. My heart was beating faster than ever. My arms and legs were shaking,I couldn't control it.

"Tyler,Josh....Josh is in a coma."

I fell to my knees when Josh's mother said that. All I did was scream. My mom ran over to me she saw me there on my knees screaming, she instantly knew what happened. She was terrified, she had this look in her eyes,I've never seen before. It was sadness,scared,broken,and pain. She was in pain from seeing my like this.

She left after awhile, I just stayed there. Mind completely blank, completely in pain,and completely heart broken. I didn't want to stay here forever. This was the hardest thing I had to do in my life. I had to get up grab my jacket, and go to the hospital.

Seconds away from the entrance, I started crying just from waking in the doors. I walked over to the front desk, feeling many strangers eyes on me, judging me.

"Um,H-hi ca-can you tell me where Jo-Josh Dun is staying? Please" I tried to sound normal but my voice was shaky.

"Are to a friend of Josh?"

"Um,y-yeah, sort of"

"Okay just gimme a minute here to figure where he is staying"

"Okay"

I turned my back and saw paramedics, rushing in with a young girl who had bandages on her wrist. All I could think of was Josh laying on that gurney.

Instead of a girl,I saw a boy with red hair and slashed up wrist laying on that gurney. I ran over to the girl, and i looked at the blood that soaked through the white.

I ran my fingers over them and I cried. I cried knowing that this girls parents are probably on their way here right now about to look at their daughters wrist.

I moved away from the girl and walked back to the front desk.

"Sorry for the wait but Josh Dun is on the fourth floor room 209"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome"

I walked past the emergency room, who had the girl in it and I put my head down. I went to the elevator, and now I just have to wait till Josh wakes up.

I'm not sure if there's a possibility that he could but I sure hope he does. I can't live without him, he means so much to me;I-i just can't lose him.

When I finally got to Josh's room I immediately cried, I saw him laying there, knowing that's all he can do until he wakes up.

"Hey Josh,I don't know if you can hear me but I'm really really sorry. I'm sorry I was a terrible boyfriend and friend, I'm sorry that I hung out with Jenna so much, I'm sorry I didn't include you in things. I'm sorry I couldn't save you."

"I was completely terrible towards you,I'm really fucking sorry Josh, but if you could do me a favour and wake up. If you wake up I'll promise I'll leave you alone. I just need to know that you're gonna alright. Cause I love you Josh, please don't leave me from this world."

"Tyler..." Mrs. Dun said from the doorframe. She came up and hugged me until I fell asleep on the chair.

Tyler
I'm gonna be okay,but you need to be strong about this. You need to have faith, don't stress out about this cause I'll be home in a few weeks, maybe days I don't know yet. But what I do know is that I love you too, just please don't give up on us. I love you Tyler, stay safe my bean.

"Josh?" I turned my head to the bed but he was still laying there. I wasn't sure if that was real or fake but it felt real.

"Hey Josh, I gotta head home. Sleep a little more, that chair was kinda uncomfortable. But I'll come back, please don't leave. I love you."

After I left the hospital I went home and went to bed. Had like two hours of sleep.

When I woke up I got up headed downstairs had coffee, ate brunch and went back to the hospital to go see Josh and talk to him a bit.

When I got there some girl was there. I don't think I've ever seen her before but she had red hair, a little bit shorter than Jenna I think and was wearing, black pants with a black shirt.

"Um hi?" I said awkwardly cause I suck at conversations with anyone.

"Oh you must be Tyler, Josh told me so much about you. It's good to finally meet you" she said like we were already best friends or something. Like bish, get your wannabe Mary Jane ass out of here (Spider-Man reference, sorry)

We just sat there in silence for half an hour. It was really awkward, I bet Josh was even awkward about this.

"So um I gotta go but it's was nice meeting you Tyler"

"Okay byeeeeee" thank goodness she left. It was too awkward

I didn't really know what to say, before I seen her I had a lot of stuff I wanted to say to Josh, but I guess that's not happening right now.

Instead of taking to him I just sat there holding his hand,slowly I was getting happy just being here with Josh. I forgot how happy he made me.

"I promise I won't go"
