chapter 24

Vaishali's PoV

My bros took me in the hall. Kavita Mam introduce me to all of them. When she introduced his chachi , I address her mummy as Amit had told me.  She looked shock but then smile and gave blessings to me. When I was introduced to mom she didn't smile but gave me blessings and his grandmaa  kissed my forehead.  Divya bhabhi and anuja hugged me. Akash bhai and papa (Amit's chacha ) too gave me blessings.

After that priest called us. He said some mantras and told his family to give me Saree.

His mummy came and did tika to me giving Saree with coconut and jewellery box. When she was about to go my mom told her to put flowers in my hair as we believes that engagement is as good as half marrriage and a bride should never say no to flowers.  My mom did the same thing.

After that priest called us and told us to exchange the rings.

He hold my hand slide ring in my finger. It is a beautiful diamiond ring. Tear started forming in my eyes as I thought I would have lost him. But now every thing is ok.

Then my mom gave me the ring and it was my turn to put ring in his finger.When I slides ring in his finger he kissed the ring making me shock.

Then photos were taken . A professional photographer was called. He was instructing us to give different poses.

Suddenly I saw my uncle ( my bua's husband ) with him. He was giving murdours glar at me as if he gets the chance he will cut me into pieces.

    Whyyyy....... they came here. I was getting nervous. I looked for my bros but they were busy in arranging dinner. My father started coming near with them.

Amit's PoV

Every thing was going well . Our photographer  told to give side posed to us but there was no reaction from vaishu  so I looked at vaishu and was shocked to see her expression.

Her face showed fear.  She was shivering  and searching for someone as she was behaving like small girl lost in croud. When I glanced at place where she was looking i saw  two guys with her father.

Her father came near to me with the two guys . He introduced them to me as vaishu's uncle (bua's husband ) and other guy as his son  Ravish.

When I again looked at vaishu she was sweating , she wanted to say something but she didn't utter a word . Only tears started flowing from her eyes. I hold her and asked her if she is alright. But she was not in a state to answer me and that guy ravish was staring at us angrily.

Something is wrong here and then suddenly vedant bhai came and huggged her.

He told her not to worry as he will never live her alone. He asked his uncle and ravish to leave. When his uncle came forward to give blessing  vaishu tightly hugged  her brother. Vedant bhai took vaishu back  and her uncle went outside with ravish followed by her father.

Vedant bhai signalled varun to follow then. I followed varun when he went in a room.

We reached in the gallery which was attached to varun's room from where we can easily listen to their conversation.

When we reached we saw ravish shouting at vaishu's father. He said that he can't see vaishu with me.

What the helll ? Who was he ? Why he was saying like that?and most important why is was shouting at vaishu's father?

On that vaishu's father assured him that he will break our engagement within two months.

U said same thing when u brought kamat's proposal  but our plan was back fired us as your son's came to know about his drinking habit , ravish again shouted at vaishu's father.

"Just cool down ravish , let vaishu fall for Amit and then I will broke their engagement and my son's will have no option but they have to agree for your marriage " her father said.

But if he forced for the marriage then what u will do mamaji ( uncle ) , what about our revenge, ravish asked vaishu's father.

Don't worry as I have told Amit to marry in may as vaishu has to complete her graduation and he agreed for that so I 'll get enough time to break engagement. She has to suffer. She can't live happy. U will take your reveng. U just relax and go, vaishu's father said to ravish .

How a father can do this with own daughter.  Why he doesn't want her happiness. Why he wanted to sufffer her and if he hates vaishu this much then what not vaishu had sufffered in her past and may be there is something horrible and big happened in her past and that may be the reason why she is afraid of her father.

I looked at varun who was equally shocked hearing above conversation. We went inside.

But when we reached I saw jaan sitting on sofa . Her mother was giving her water to drink and all were looking tensed. My mom suddenly asked if  vaishu is facing some problem.

Amit this can also lead to break engagement  so u have to answer on her side before situation went out of control.

Mom u know she was hospitalized so may be she is still not feeling well by saying this I went to vaishu and asked her, " r u ok sweetheart. "

She noded saying yes.

I wanted to make her smile so next movement

I  wisper in her ear that if She is going to upset her mood then I 'll kiss her. She looked at me in widen eyes and with a smile she looked down shyly.
